Live Stoner Chat Does anyone ever feel sad when chopping time comes?

Lol I was wondering the same thing. I do! We keep them alive and tend to their every need and then boom! Chop em! Poor guys.

Always wish I had somebody to show them to before I cut them down ... Sharing the good and bad of grows on here makes it a lot easier to cut when the time comes ... that and overlapping grows whenever possible ...

I agree, overlapping or running a perpetual grow probably would help with the bad feeling of cutting them down, if you have just one crop and then you chop it down the next day you're like what do I do with my life now bummer

I don't feel bad when i crop as I give them everything they want with the exception of pollen.

When they get the chop, their life is already at an end their leaves are yellowing, as it slowly exits the world under its own steam.

I take a farmers point of view, raise corn eat bread, raise pigs eat bacon etc.

when you give names and personalities to an animal, well then it is a pet and when it dies you bury it.

Some people may grow attached to their plants but no one buries it when it dies, no siree then just dry it , cure it and smoke it which isn't so different from making bacon {dry cure and smoke}.

I grow my plants for a purpose and that purpose is for ingestion be it for medicine or recreation.

All my plants are special to me, I join it on it journey through its life time and pamper it but when it fades away and is not to grow any more then that the end of that.

The circle of life starts again with a new seed and the journey with a new pampered lady starts all over again.

Arty zan that was beautiful and it really made me think thank you for this inspiring post :)
I too am one of the people who gets sad when it comes to chopping time since I feel like the plant gives me the gift of itself, but the way you put it makes it easier - as in they give us their fruit/flowers because we provided them everything needed for it
