The parts in the light I asked about are American. Also, many people warned me about perfect sun. Apparently the warranty is bad and the lights burn out after a year or two.

CXB3590 are great chips, better (more efficient) than Citizen 1212, 1216, 1812. But you can DIY cheaper, you only need CXB3590, CPU heatsink and a driver, probably all for 50-60€.

I.love perfect sun I have there Goliath and cob both amazing lights, warranty is definitely valid. There new light Maxx yield is amazing, if you want dyi check out FOLUX SOLUTIONS LED

I have the same light I think. All good parts, great light, and I have had no problems with it. It grew already a plant over 150 grams...
You can see her there on the right in front. Sorry for the bad photo:(

If you think CF Grow are American, someone is pulling the wool over your eyes, they are a Chinese brand based in China using standard parts that you can buy for less without the box around them.

As KonopCH says, you can build the same for less so why spend twice as much as necessary when we are looking at less than half an hour of your time to DIY the same light without the fancy box?

I know. I was lazy at the time, and you also get glass lens, internal fans for cooling, and all in a nice little package. Took it apart, it is what they say it is and he parts are good. Yep, would have been around 75€ or so with all of it except the box, switch, and hangers. Light works though just fine. I then bought a diy 75w cob with same chip and a plastic reflector and that works about the same and was about 2/3 the price. :dang:

What chip brand this COB uses? I prefer Mars COB, Cree&Osram chips, never worry leds burn out

It's a Cree cxb3590, meanwell driver 100w at only 65w, passive and internal cooling fan. Yep, you pay almost double, but you don't have to make it. I have grown nice plants with this in my tent along my other lights.
