Harvest & Curing Does this one look ready for harvest?

Thanks. I can still see some white pistils and more toward the lower areas of the plant. Can you harvest different parts of the plant without cutting it all down?
If I cut off the top cola when it looks done and leave some lower branches, with they keep growing or will the shock kill the plant or arrest its development?

I generally harvest in a couple stages. It's not as much for added growth as added maturity. Indoors removing the main cola generally allows the light to be dropped closer to the lower buds and the center cola generally matures first.

Nice plants, look very healthy, I asked the same question and the answer was a couple more weeks, take a look at my Sig I think mine is a touch ahead of yours..

Thanks. I will wait another week or two and see how it goes. Your plants are very nice. Did you top or fim them?

No I LST them from the start, autos dont have enough time in their life to recover and then benefit from topping or fimming, exactly what I am doing, took a bud off today and drying for a tester/taster... Looking good tho bro :smokebuds:

Thanks. That's good to know not to try to fim an auto plant.
So lst will will force them into producing more colas?
Can you suggest a good read for this sort of info?
In a way, that's just one more reason for me to try a photo strain rather than another auto strain.

There are other ways of encouraging more colas, SCROG is a method that many peeps on AFN find works well, especially in height restricted grow areas...

But yes it does produce more colas, by bending the main stem over (leaving leaf nodes higher than top of main stem, she will change her priority growth to the tips (leaf nodes) closest to the light. You will then have 2 new colas coming from the new top of the plant and your original main stem will continue also, leaving you 3 main colas, repeat this and you will continue to produce more colas, the link Baylee has provided is a perfect reference to my way of doing it

Encourage you to try LST an auto before reverting to photos, I didnt lst my first auto but i'll be damned LST certainly is rewarding... Hope this helps my friend :smokebuds:

Thanks for the links and info everyone.
Happy days.
My trichs have turned amber!!!
The little sativa had several definite amber trichs on a small leaf that I snipped off tonight near the top of its main cola.
It still has some whitish pistils in several places plus a lot of more shrivelled ones.
The little indica still has a bit more to go, but its trichs are all cloudy.
The fan leaves are falling off and have all turned mostly yellow on both plants, and I have been feeding them only water now for about 2 weeks.
I plan to harvest the sativa this weekend.
It will be interesting to see what sort of yield I get from these little plants. They each have a main cola and a few other side branches with clumps of buds on them.
My third little indica is only about 6 inches tall and only has one cola which takes up the whole height of the plant.
They were all autofem seeds (super skunk and white diesel) and all planted about sept 12.
