Lower Leaves near the bottom tend to die off as they dont get as much light as they would have done. Could be because of like what you said splash of nutes but it also could be a sign of under feeding maybe?

OK guys... due to the early death of these 2 Abb's I have decided to chop and salvage all that I can.
On a higher note though.... I have placed an order for some sweet cream caramel from sweet seeds.
I'm also looking into coco for them too so I'll do more research while I'm waiting on my order. I believe if you use coco you need hydro notes etc also.
Hopefully I can put these to good use.

id be interested in what the roots looked like and how much of a root system you had

And Bob, the root system was vast.. as I was cutting them I realised my mistake was cutting them down..there was new, undamaged growth coming through.. my bad I guess.

damn , i meant too and think i mentioned to watch for new growth and its health
honestly though , the dieing part of the plant if what im thinking is right would have just held back the new growth from doing much and in the long run saving you from marble sized nugs that took forever to finish
i think as hard as it is to do , you did the right thing
