Feel like testing out a remedy for that Onyx?

Poke around the little Onyx plant about two to three inches away from it, with your finger, downwards. You are looking for the taproot growing sideways towards the walls of the pot. I think it will stay stunted until it starts to grow downwards. If you can push it down, it may start to grow bigger, at least that is what I think happened to me.

I had two at the same time do it about a year ago, one root I ended up pushing down after I accidentally found it growing sideways about a half inche under the surface. Then after I pushed it down it grew great, but never caught up to it's sisters, because I got to it too late I think. The other one stayed stunted and I pulled it, and it had a four inch taproot that was sideways too.

My two cents.

I pulled the runt out. It's root hadn't grown a bit since it was potted up.

This girl has exploded in growth.
She is a bit behind in my eyes for a 51 day old. I think she should have a bit more flower going on.
But that's all good. I'll let her do her thing. No set timeframe in RoninGarden.

On another note, I popped a CHP into a Root Riot cube about a week ago and she is now potted up in a 2 gallon Airpot full of coco.
I'll get some pics up once they wake up.
I'm going to drop my last Onyx reboot as well as another NYCDxWWxLebanese.
My current nycdxwwxlebanese is a photo so I'd like to get one that goes auto.

The White Russian x Blackberry has been swelling up really nice. Tall as hell.
Very happy with the results from a 2 gallon Airpot. 47" tall Day60
I think she is gonna be a 85-90 day girl.
Here's a few pics..

The CHP is doing great. She has taken to the coco really well.
She got her first feeding last night.
Day13.

The NYCD x White Widow x Lebanese photo is doing well.
I topped her about a week ago.
She is now in training. Her branches have been spread out and fanned.

Today we'll focus on the Fruity O.G. Kush.
Day 48. 38" tall from rim of Airpot

It appears she is going to be a tall one.
She like her sisters, has been a light feeder up til this point.
I'm sure that's about to change now that she's going into flower mode.

Next update I'll get some pics of the NYCD x WW x Lebanese photo girl in training.

Welcome to part 2 of this Monday morning update.

NYCD x White Widow x Lebanese
Well this girl decided to go the photo route.
Since that determination was made, she has been off to the side veggin.
Here is what I do to photos.
Top 'em and stretch 'em.
Here is what she looked like a few weeks ago from the side:

I basically count 4 to 5 lateral branches up from the bottom and top her.

After the topping I spread her branches out and tie off with wire hangers.

I then slowly train her to radially fan out to spread her arms.

You can see there are still gaps in the 12, 3 and 9 o'clock positions.
She will be pulled to fill in those spots.
Each branch has anywhere from 8 to 20 bud sites. Each will now grow straight up to create a bud canopy.
Once all new upward growth reaches a common point I'll start the lolipopping.
Thus hopefully creating a scrog of sorts. Just no net.
I find this method works well to utilize all available space in the flower tent.

looking great..Im getting some of the same issues ..one of mine is 6foot tall lol other is close also lol need to get pics up..but they do look very uniform but seem to be slow auto/fast photos and some photo mixed in..still needs work id say.

Today we'll focus on the White Russian x Blackberry.
Day 67. Holding strong at 50" tall from the Airpot rim.
She gets fed 2 liters a day now.
Swelling up really nice. No smell unless you rub her.
Then she smells like fruity incense. Nag Chompa.

I think she'll be a 85 day girl.
Truly up to her of course...
