I will drop the seed tomorrow.

Germination
May 1st update. I have 7 out of 9 seeds germinated and at least 2 of each strain :jump: since I can only grow 6 plants I will have a full house on the first run. I will transplant in a day or two.

Love the process and thorough description. I’m also curious how you use the tomato cages with them. Training and/or support?

Support, the only training I do is I top above the 4th node usually between day 14 -21. I only defoliate underneath for air flow usually in mid to late flower. I have tried all of the different training methods from leaf tucking to SCROG on autos and it simply is not worth my time or effort.

The tomato cages are set in concrete to give enough support even for a 7 foot tall plant. When photoperiods get that tall I add bamboo stakes to extend the height. I do a lot of training on Photoperiod plants starting with manifolding and usually super cropping.

Originally I cast these in plastic plant trays so they would slide in the flood tray easier but they wore out and I just painted the concrete with an epoxy paint, they slide well enough to be able to move the plants if needed.

They facilitate taking a plant out of the grow space for pictures and harvesting.
