Jeez, seems I never have enough time to get in here to keeps things up to date, especially now that the weather is nice and I'm outdoors a lot more. So here's what's been going on.

Finished up the test grow of some Psirens for MrMcGregor about 3 weeks ago. I had 6 plants in all and got 9 oz. from them. They were some frosty bitches and the smoke is wonderful. Some smell like Mi5, some of Cheese. They were my last grow in the outdoor box till the fall when the weather cools down again. So I'm limited to my small indoor area for the summer.

I've got 4 plants in there now, 3 Pakistani Ryder x Bad Betty and 1 Duurty Dragon. This is the first time I'm growing out the PR x BB cross. They are 10 weeks old today. I ran into some pH issues with them and had a bit of lockout. That happened during the two weeks while I was prepping for visiting family and the week that they were here. So I wasn't able to jump on the pH issue as fast as I would have liked. The result is that bud production has suffered. The size on these is pretty impressive. The smallest is 18", another is 28" and the 3rd is 32" with a 24" cola. Buds just aren't as fat as I'd like. But this grow was just to see what I'll get from this cross and if I want to continue working it. The DD didn't have the pH issues. It split into a double cola on it's own without being topped. She's my first Dragon so I'm really looking forward to sampling her.

In preparation for these finishing up soon I've started some more seeds. One each of WoS Sweet Coffee Ryder, Sugar Mango Ryder and White Sirius. I usually grow 4 plants in there but am finding that since switching to the AN nutes my plants are getting so much bigger that it's getting a bit crowded in there with 4. So only 3 this time around.

I'll get some pictures of the PR x BB and the DD before I chop them in about 2 or 3 weeks.

Wow that's impressive Muddy! Between helping all us folks here at AFN I don't see how you have time to keep up with all those too. Thanks for all you do and good luck with all future grows.

Sounds like things are pretty good for you Muddy, glad things are well. Thanks for all of your help.

awsome bro love them strains

did u know i did Psirin about 3 or 4 months ago she did have a slight cheese smell
i hope someone turns them to feminized cause many will want her beans xD

Yes, I remember you growing them. My understanding is they are Mi5 x Cheese. Some have the fruity Mi5 smell, some the Cheese. I think MrMcG sent us each seeds from a different plant to test. These had good size but the buds could be bigger and the plants themselves a bit stronger to support them. It probably needs a little more work before it's ready to be released.

Summer time and not a whole lot happening round here. With no outdoor photo grow this year and the outdoor box shut down, I'm limited to my small indoor area.

The three PR x BB and the one Duurty Dragon are about a week away from harvest. In spite of the early pH issues they are looking very nice. Bud weight isn't great but still very respectable. One of the PR x BB looks like it will go about a week longer than the others. It's showing more sativa dominance with longer, less dense buds. She's a big girl, 36" tall with a 24" main cola. Just hoping the buds fill in a bit more over the next two weeks.

In the mean time I've got my next grow started. The Coffee, Mango and White Sirious are 10 days old. Since they are fem seeds I started them right in their final, 3 gallon pots. Been quite awhile since I've done that and I had forgotten how most of the growth the first week or so goes to the roots. I used to them taking off faster. They should need watering in another day or two, so will probably give them a mild feed. That should kick them into a higher gear.

I did see a nice little 5,000 btu A/C unit at WalMart for $98. Just need to recompute my power draw and make sure the circuit I have to my outdoor box can handle it. If it can, I'm considering buying one so I can run the outdoor box year round. If I do, then I'll probably throw a couple DWC buckets in there and see if I can grow a couple of Jackal type monsters.
