The last of the PR x BB got the chop last night. She was the sativa dominant one and took longer to flower and to finish, 15 weeks. She's a monster. Ended up 36" tall with a 24" cola. The sativa dominance is obvious in the looser buds. My yield is down a bit on this grow due to some pH issues. I had family visiting during week 7 when I first noticed it and by the time they left and I could address it, their bud growth had become stunted a bit. The first two PR x BB weighed in at 41 and 37 grams, the Duurty Dragon at 38. I normally don't do wet weights but given the size of the cola on the third PR x BB I decided to weight it last night after it was chopped and manicured. 107 grams wet, so I expect that cola will come in around 25 - 28 grams. With the side branches the total dry weight should be around 55 - 60 grams. Overall I probably lost 30% or more in yield, so that monster might have been over 80 grams.

The PR x BB are showing more of a Bad Betty influence. Some purple started to creep in towards the end and the smell is more BB on the first two, while the big one has the PR smell. The DD is a nice deep purple, almost black. Since the first 3 have been down for about 3 weeks now, they have been dry enough for some early samples. The DD is hard hitting, and I can see why it's a great med strain. It leaves me numb all over. The PR x BB are also showing the BB influence in the smoke, with just enough of the PR to give it a better balance. All and all I'm very pleased with it and am planning on continuing to develop it.

I have been growing a pure Afghani from Mazari iShariff region of Afghanistan. Big leaves but not enormous plant and is from the mountains and finishes early 2nd week of September.. Wicked long lasting stone. It has that old time hashy smell to it when it burns no Skunk no Cheese no Diesel. Very low aroma growing it. Seeds were originally from DNA genetics I like it a lot and will continue to grow her out. I want to cross it out to my Purpls Mazar X Mi5 cross next yearjust for the hell of it. Isn't breeding wicked fun. I always wonder if there is some connection with the Mazar and the Mazari Shariff region. Real breeders might know this not old hacks like me.

Get her to persevere with the Affy...if it Doesn't put me on my butt for the first 3 or 4 days I would worry about it...
Also..take it Early..Early Affy is an UP Energy high..it is like Speed...:thumbs:

Maybe I am wrong..I know it was a GHaze cross..I'll ask.

I'm totally off satis for pain meds..even my own..:no:...I get the mood lift but no pain relief..no point..


Odd isn't it...
for Me..a strong sati dom actually seems to wipe out my indy med effects and the pain gets a hold..so I avoid them...:smokebuds:
