Hey folks im back again the tickling urge to grow got to me after smoking the product they call weed in my area, so im back with my wardrobe picked up some essentials i was lacking before on my past grows so hopefully i can get this dialed this time. So heroes what I've got to play with
Bio-bizz indoor try pack
Bio-bizz stimulant try pack
Kelp extract
Epsom salts
250w flowering cfl
125w veg cfl
6" clip on fan
Ozone world digital pH meter
pH up and down
About 10m of mylar sheeting
A hood for the bulb
Timer, thermometer
All purpose compost
Perlite
Blood meal and dry egg shells.

And bean wise I've got
3x Auto Seeds Candy Kush fem
3x Cream of the Crop Auto Cash Crop fem
And dome free photos from Herbies.

I plan to grow two of each first run n start the other two autos towards the end so i can switch it out when first ones harvest. My space is approx 6ft tall 3ft wide and deep. Just an ordinary looking wardrobe from outside. I've grown about five times in it and I've had people standing three feet away and not notice anything. I know i don't have odour control but i will probably just buy a bucket of ONA Gel its worked for me before. So everything's ordered and should arrive beginning of week so il spend the weekend getting mylar hung and pots filled and the likes. As always i wanna hear every bodies input and some watchful eyes keeping me on the right path.

I've been reading quite a bit setting up this new grow and people kept suggesting putting a layer of damp newspaper in the bottom of your pots before filling them. Or a layer of perlite. What does this achieve? Hmmm....

If you are hand watering putting a layer of perlite or rocks or anything in the bottom of the pot doesn't achieve anything. It doesn't help with drainage, it's a myth. Mix some perlite in with your soil to aid aeration of the soil.

Yeah thought it sounded a bit bizzare something to do with it stops the drainage holes getting blocked? Who knows but yeah il be using about 60% soil 30% perlite 10% amendments. Turns out its not actual mylar i was given by my mate bet still very reflective silver plastic but its starting to look like a grow cupboard again. I cant wait to get started. Any tips on germination and seedling stage. If been through a couple of grows some better than others so really wanna nail this one

I'm on my phone so can't type a long one but I generally germinate using the moist paper towel method then when they crack open place in a jiffy cube or a root riot cube. Then wait for roots to come out of that before transferring into the final bucket

Yeah that's what I've done in the past just thought I'd see if anybody had any different thoughts. Do you think if i was to pre-water the pots then sow the beans how Kong would you give it until watering cause i hear leaving it makes the rap root spread deep and wide in search for moisture aiding in nice root structure but how long would be too long to let it search il b planting straight into their final pots? Ohhhh so excited im like a kid on the run up to Christmas

Afternoon folks so the space has been lined with my reflective crap and I've got my ports full and in place ( pretty tight squeeze) i think my seeds arrived from Herbies today but i was at work so ul need to go n pick them up tomorrow. Couple of questions firstly if just taken my 125w veg bulb out the box and its broken now iv read some where on here that autos can successfully grow just with a flower bulb? Is this true but obv i wont start my seedlings under a 250w so it need to be the crappy 28w veg cfl I've gt some where so il leave them under that 24/0 for first few days. 2nd question where the cable attaches to the bulb socket on my cfl lead has came apart all the wires on the inside are intact what do you suggest you think it be okay? And 3rdly im gonna need some help with all this pH stuff when my meter arrives. Il post a picture of the cab when where fully set up and ready. Cheers in advance for any help

So this is my cabinet just squeezed 6 pots in 2 are slightly smaller but they do I've got my 250W flower bulb hung verticly with home made reflector just to try get as much light down as possible. And the fan will hang on the back of the door on a hook. I've got thermometer hanging just above pot level. And I've prewatered the pots with about 2ml of seaweed extract aswell. So all things hopeful my seeds will be with me tomorrow and can get started.
