For filters on my inline intake fans I cut up the woolly sleeve from carbon filter
held in place by extra connector pushed over it
It’s reasonably easy to change
They’re washable..tho they degrade a bit
I have a 4”/100mm box fan extractor
..fan blades are much stronger than inline fans
- so its nice and powerful to compensate for airflow restriction
(Bonus ..it seems you can use a very cheap fan speed controller with 4”/100mm box fan without getting that annoying buzzing sound)
