Mephisto Genetics Drooping Ripley's OG..help?

Thanks @Slater . I do pH my water..last was to 6.4 and am always between 6.3 and 6.7. Cold seems to have been fixed, and I'm gad to hear the new growth looks good. If my temp's areally now 75-78, what should my humidity be? I'm at 40-42% usually.

no worry's @rydin4life ... yours looks more of a over watering issue than anything else...your ph sounds all good, I would let her dry out, give her another water to run off and monitor, if you see no improvement then take to the infirmary

No, I said it was catching the RUNOFF from my hempys

They use to have small Res’s that would overflow, but I fixed that.

I was feeding her 1/4tsp of MC2.0 every other watering

Ok, a true Hempy is bottom fed. So you are top feeding to run off and they sat in the run off? That can definitely cause root zone issues if you overwater and Smart pots bottom will stay more soaked vs plastic pots. I am not sure what 1/4 tsp of MC is strength wise, but it can't be very strong. Do you measure EC an pH?

It’s 100% a root issue. Compact soil possibly. As 6 hours after I transplanted her into that 7 gal smart pot she perked right up. What she could anyways

I measure PH and no way to measure EC, I measure PPM and PH every time

I’m never over 250ppm and always at 6.4-6.5ph for Ripleys

My tent is PACKED. So I top feed my hempys

I’m doing my hempys differently anyways, it’s literally a Deep Water Hempy

That’s a light sealed 5” Res for my hempy. I have the others done like this too mostly

I have 10 of them lol

Anyways they use to have small 1.5” drip pans As their Res’s, and I’m lazy and top feed to runoff to change the water out and refresh PPM. It use to flood my tent.

Caused some problems. They have been addressed

Ripleys is my only concern as I have SO many plants I don’t care if I have a few issues here n there

The DWH is super fun and hasn’t been done before. I’m the first. So I’ll be documenting it of course

The idea is to end up with DWC worthy roots coming out of my smart pots (yay Hydrogaurd) and drop her In a 5gal DWC Bucket w a 10” modified net pot

I have some 6”-10” Long roots down in there, just can’t see it from here

mmmmm... ph is good.... it's looking like it could be a possible lock out with that yellowing... to be safe I would take this to the infirmary, this look like it's a job for @Waira , you find the best advice there

You know what, I’ll do that. I’ll message that blade you mentioned too :)

Thx friend! You guys are great

Well I have 2 suggestions. 1st, 250ppm is nothing . Some people have water from tap stronger than that. 2nd, Try using Coco instead of Your current mix if you are going water like and use Plastic pots. Smart pots keep the Roots more soaked and also the fabric holds salts IMO. I would fair to bet with plastic pots and a Coco dominate mix might give your roots more Oxygen. Good luck

Thx mate, at the time when I started this grow, it was just Ripleys and 2 Sour Cracks

I had no money

Used happy frog, perlite, rice hulls, & mycorrhizae

Rly shitty soil

Next time I will use pro mix, or royal gold Tuper if I go the coco route

Thx for the share

Your roots look good. Did you do the same thing to the Ripley's? I could for see root issues without Oxygen supplement at some point, do you use a pump?

I would try Tupur over Promix. I have seen a lot of people with bugs or issues with both Happy Frog and Promix in recent times. Make for sure you have no gnats or bugs if you used Happy Frog. Good luck
