Hello everyone. I read that when drying you need lots of air movement. Obvious right lol. But my question is if I'm drying in a closet do I need a intake and outtake fan. Like air coming in from the cooled room and a carbon filter going into the attic? Or can I just have a oscillating fan and the correct humidity and tempature. in the room. I have a 5x5 ft closet and can have intake/ outtake if neeeded what would you do? Also should I invest in a quick cure or should I just hang my buds?

You really don't want any air movement. As long as your humidity isn't real high there is no need for intake or exhaust.

Really? I would think no air would cause problems with mold. Not even an oscillating fan on low setting or anything? Just around 70 f and 40 45 humidity?

I agree with Nammy. Air circulation can be good and bad. It can Dry buds to a Crisp quickly taking alot of smell and flavor away.

I have a 4x4 tent i dry in and just leave the two 6 inch flanges open up top and the small windows on tbe bottom of tent open. It sits at a proper humidty and Drys nicely.

If your Humidty is higher then 60-65 i put a fan in the closet just blowing into the corner not on buds. Just that way theres some circulating Air.

i used to hang my bud in a dark space and it worked fine, however now i use brown a4 sized envelopes and i am made up with this method of drying, i am finding that it takes a little longer but the end result is what counts and this is top notch, a little tip if your going to go with brown paper bags, dont over fill the bags.

Do you guys live in weed friend states or is the drying smell not an issue? I read some places it smells like grass some places it smells like skunk.

Had a power outage for a few ours the per day and the whole house reaped after an hour

I was planning on hanging the bigger nuts and putting the small ones on a quick cure net. Never heard of brown bag method or envolopes

Also only 4 pretty large fast and vast not a huge crop though by any means
