New Grower Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry SCROG

With a photo strain scrog is ideal, because you can keep her in veg. Ive read that you Lst and top the plant if you like untill you get it the way you want it. Then your throw a scrog net over the top of all that and you good to go for a great yield.

That's what I'm leaving towards. Got a ton of other freebie seeds with my order that I'm dying to try. So hard to decide which ones to grow next and how many to grow lol. Hoping to start them towards the end of the autos so I don't have a big gap in between.

Im also contemplating doing a scrog with two of my freebie photos. Its very intimidating though! haha

I am still trying to devise a net that can easily be raised and lowered

You shouldnt have to move it at all man they usually stay where they are put for the entire grow.

I was trying to come up with some way to do it in DWC but it is likely more effort than it is worth. I was thinking a net attached to a PVC frame on Yoyos, but since I will be attempting coco it would be alot easier in that.

Is it difficult to train the autos? It seems very straightforward with photoperiods but watching these things grow it seems like it could get out of control. I saw one think different grow and the damn thing just ate the net haha

So far man in my experience autos take to low stress training very well but as said before its easier to do it earleir when the plants are more flexable rather than later when they bulk up a little. But i havent done any of the XXL strains yet so i imagine once you have the space there is no need to worry.

Day 23, Week 4

So yesterday was the start of the BB's fourth week and everything is going smooth so far.
Here is this weeks feeding plan....

Water - 1000ml
Sensi Grow A - 2ml
Sensi Grow B - 2ml
Molasses - 3ml

Fed the BB at this week's dosage today and im going to leave her stretch another bit before anymore training is done.

Here is the Polarlights she is at day 5 now and is a very slow grower comparing to other strains.

Been misting her once or twice a day ph 6.5.

Looking good! Think im going to start lstng soon. One question, it looks like your watering every three days. Everywhere I've read it sounds like that's the average frequency. The problem I'm having is my soil is still moist 4 even 5 days between waterings. I'm only giving them 2cups at a time and I did use %50 perlite for drainage. Trying to feed/water then twice per week. Any advice?

Looking great man, she looks very happy!

Thats Thatsstrange, bubbles, especially considering the 50% perlite mix... That should increase watering frequency I would think

Perlite also holds and retains moisture as well as being good for drainage.

In my opinion i would start giving one cup of water instead of the two and see how you get on then? It sounds like to me that they dont need that much moisture yet so there for you will still have a moist or damp soil after a couple of days when using excess water. In my first grow i put in the same amount of perlite as you and found later it to be a pain especailly when the girls got big, sometimes i almost had to water twice a day but usually it was daily or every second day.
Now thats just my two cents, give it a try i might be completely wrong.

Thanks for the info! Think that's a good idea to just give them less water for now so then I can keep the frequency up. I know what you mean about the perlite. Just figured Id rather have too much drainage vs not enough. I was reading that the less resistance the roots have in the soil he bigger the yield. In the future I hope to create mh own TLO soil. Just have to use up these damn nutes first. Plus I don't mind watering them more often I'm in there at least 3 times a day drooling over them anyways lol :D
