Day 14

So we are just at the end of the second week now and growth is really taking off.
She looked really thirsty today even though i just watered her recently, but i guess with this heat wave things are starting to dry up alot faster.
Temps inside the tent have been getting as high as 90f and there is simply nothing i can do about it, i just hope this litle auto can take the heat.

Started her feed today and here is my feeding plan for this week:

Water 1000ml
Sensi A 1ml
Sensi B 1ml
Molasses 3ml (once a week)

Day 16, Week 3

So the light cycle has been changed to 20-4 now instead of 22-2 and on week six it will be changed over to 18-6.
Checked inside the tent today and all is looking very well and healthy, i also decided to plant a polarlights#2 today seeing as its the last seed i have left and i know it wont do all that well, so why not ?

Here are some pictures of the Blueberry:

She is just under 6 inches in height and is just over 13 inches from leaf to leaf ( width)
Lst is going to be started now either this week or next, im going to give her another few days just to make sure she is nice and anchored in the soil.

Wow she's looking sweet! Nice and short and stocky :)

Question on your LST, I'm sure you'll show this in future updates, are you planning on doing like a spiral LST or how do you plan on doing it?

Also, how's your temps been? Mine are averaging 82-84. Just decided to switch to running it at night cuz I got my first electric bill. It wasn't pretty lol. I'm a littler concerned though because I've been running them 18/6 for about a week and now they'll be on for almost 36hrs before getting a dark cycle again. Think this will stress them?

She would probably be a bit taller by this stage but i had to put more soil down to help support her because of the stretching she did at the start.
Yeah with the lst i hope on doing something like this....
lst-01.png
and then if i get enough time and space il scrog over that, but im not sure if il have enough time to actually do that, but we will see.

Your temps are doing really well, my lights currently go off during the day when its at its warm'st for 4 hours. At night when the windows and blinds are closed temps get as high as 90f and with the heat wave we are having here in Ireland , temps have always been close to 90f, even when lights are on during the day.

I have seen people do grows with 24 hours of light the whole way through, and they went really well too... so i would think you should be fine with the 36 hours of light before the dark cycle but im no expert so maybe you should check with the likes of Muddy or someone with more experience.

That's what I'm hoping to do with a LST. Looks fairly straightforward just spiraling up as you go around the pot. I've also considered getting tomato cages and just training them with that vs LST. Any opinion on that? I'm more concerned about horizontal space vs vertical. I've considered scrog but most info I found says its not worth it because of the low veg time. I've seen some excellent examples of people doing it successful though. Think I'm leaning more towards a tomato cage and using that to kind of LST or train them to fit.

I didn't even realize it got that hot in Ireland lol. Without divulging too much info I'm at a lower latitude then you in the states. We have very harsh winters and short summers. It can get really hot but this year has been very mild so far.

I figured the samething about changing my lighting schedule. I though itd be better to give them 36hrs of light vs 12 hrs of darkness during the switch. Sucks trying to sleep with the damn thing running all night but after seeing my electric bill I've gotta save money wherever I can.

Well i think the cage would work great if your stuck for horizontal space rather than vertical. What way would you go about training them on the cages?? Loop them in one side and let them grow and pop her out the other side and continue the cycle or do you have something else in mind?

Well ive got 6 autos and my tent is 2wx4lx5h so i think im more constrained for horizontal vs vertical but honestly not sure at this point.I was thinking it would be kind of like Lst'ng except tying the branches to the tomato cage and spiraling up still but trying to keep everything contained within the cage if that makes sense lol. Plus hoping my main colas will be so huge they'll need the support to stay standing :D
