New Grower Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry - what does it like?

Hey good people,

I'm doing a quick grow after mostly screwing up my last one. Started one DP Auto Blueberry, one Barney's Farm Pineapple Express, and one Kannabia Gnomo. Of these, Gnomo is the only one I've grown before. I know these pots are small, but they've worked out fine in the past for this box and I don't expect huge yields, just trying to get a little extra set aside so I can skip growing for a while.

So far all is well.

HO t8 daylight fluoro fixture
2 LED sidelights
Fox Farm Ocean Forest + a little vermiculite on top
rainwater
Grow Big/Big Bloom/Tiger Bloom

I didn't feed until the day after I took these pics, as I've read that it's not really necessary to rush feeding with the OF. I've been better about watering only as needed, moving and rotating the pots each day, and they have good air movement. No bugs. Th ph is about 6.5.

Gnomo and PE seem happy, but the Auto Blueberry doesn't seem to be. Anyone grow the AB before? Does it need more nutes than other strains? Or does it just grow a little slower? It doesn't look like it's just smaller though, it looks a bit peakid.

on my current setup at the moment, i ran 3x AB, and 2 of them fucked up out of the 3, i dont know if its the genetics or what but they just kinda went all spasticated. I have 1x AB left running currently at about 4 weeks. Now this one is a really nice plant, but from my exsperience it aint a slow grower and likes to be fed reguarly. i was watering daily when i had my HPS setup in there but since then have switched to LED and now feed every 2 days or so. i will upload a photo of my girl soon so u can see. what LED lights do you have? and are u using any root enhancers or anything like that? i dont have exsperience with tiger bloom and OF as im uk based. Also aparantly AB have tendency to hermie dont know if that was the problem with mine but they were just shit seeds or what.

I grew a Barneys PE last round.When the trics are juuust about to turn cloudy,its gonna smell sooo good you'll swear your in Hawaii at a Pineapple Farm.LMAO!!Happy growing man!!

what LED lights do you have? and are u using any root enhancers or anything like that?

They're just old-school GlowPanels for supplemental lighting on the GrowBright fixture. That's why I move and rotate them a lot, no expert on LEDs but I know it seems to help to keep them moving with older lights. No root enhancers, just trying to keep it simple this time around and not overdo it like I usually do. Last time my ph meter was dying and I didn't realize it, and ended up acidifying the hell out of the poor things this time I'm just using a little kit with a vial and drops, but it's working.

I guess they can't all be winners, maybe I just picked one of the problem kids in the Auto Blueberry pack. I'll try giving her a little more chow than the others, thanks.

Heheh was kinda hoping it would smell like a fruit salad in there before too long! Glad to hear it's a fun grow. I've got at least 2 more to try when I get my nicer closet together.

yes hopfully will improve shortly in the next couple of weeks, get some root juice , also u dont have AB, AB= Autoblueberry lol.

It smells like ya just cut into an overly sweet pineapple,I think your gonna frigin love it.I did.hope your runnin a filter if ya live close to ppl or doing a few of em.LOL!Man now I wanna go n grow another.LOL!Happy growin man!!

the DP auto blue is really awesome too.Maaan your gonna have that super sweet fruit salad ya mentioned I bet.LOL!Dank salad fer lunch!!LOL!

Very curious to see if the Bluematics do any better than the ABs. Sometimes it just takes a while for a new strain to stabilize, I guess. When I first grew Gnomo 2+ years ago it was like that, very inconsistent in shape and habit. By the third batch I'm on now it seems to be more consistent. Still a nice small strain so long as you don't manhandle it.

I don't smoke cause I really can't (throat probs), and my husband doesn't like to now either (he's a runner) but I have been wanting to try vaping and the fruity flavors seemed like a nice place to get started. Gotta look for a little vaporizer now. I mostly make cannaoil in coconut, and I bet the pineapple is going to smell good soaking in that! Now that I'm growing again I can really smell the differences between the strains.

Man it's nice to have weed again. I've gone overboard cooking with it. Have to mark things in the fridge so we don't get an unintentional buzz, like at work
