Indoor Dutch Passion's Auto White Widow Lst

I am doing lst for the first time and loving it. I noticed the stretcher sativa leaning plants to be more more "Scupt-able" for lack of a better word. JUst thinking out loud, do you think it would be a good idea to encourage stretching in early veg to allow more room for the plant to be able to open up? I had a few that stretched like mad, and the happen to have developed by far the best structrral response to training. You inspired to incorporate LST into my garden, and I'm curious if you have picked up on any nuances or tricks of the art of lst

Day 48

A little more training was done today, i cut off all the old ties as i have them both well bent into shape. All that was left to do do was tie down and spread out all the stems to let more light in to the middle of the canopy.
Aww looks like she has a bit of a phosphourous diff so im going to up my bloom nutes a little more. Besides that and a little cal/mg problems everything is under Control, theese girls are really after spreading out and starting to fight for the space in my 1.2mx1.2mx2m grow tent.

She is really starting to take over with the smell of blueberry im really excited to see what she turns out like in the end, the aroma is always changing between the sweet blueberry smell and the earthy smell from the mazar.

Yeah Lst is great man, really helps keep everything even and lets alot of light into those places that wouldnt usually get it. Im still learning man so i really dont have to much info to give out, i would agree strecthing them early alllows for easier training. my suggestions with the bushy indica doms would b e to Lst every day and make sure the top of the plant doesnt get much of a chance to turn back towards the light, just keep on training her so that the canopy stays even.
I Found with this grow il need to be more on top of my training for next time round and that you must always allow for the top of the plant to go up at a slight angle but not to much so that the main stem doesnt grow above every other stem causing the canopy to be uneven like with what i have with A.W. Just try and plan out your tie downs before you do them.
Sorry for the long rant you probably already know what im saying but thats alll i will be focused on for the next grow. Have you got a thread SkatterBrayne?

Id add also the earlier the better. Usually starting to LST around 4-6in tall is when I get the best results. Other than that it's super easy. It'll be obvious what you need to do as you see the plant respond.

I've been experimenting with topping and then LST. Not sure if ill get better yield yet but I've been able to get a much more uniform bush vs LST alone. Ideally id top twice to get 4 main colas to train. I also recommend the topping as young as possible too.

Plants look so healthy Brian. Looks like your nutes are almost perfect IMO. I wish I could get my leaves to pray like that. It doesn't happen often for me lol.

Im really not sure if its a good thing to be honest, looks like something is wrong. Il see after i adjust my nutes, thanks for the comment man apreciate the kind words.

Supposed to be praying for mag, so iv'e read, i have three"praying" at the moment.

I've heard that when your in flower you want to have a little bit a of mag def. Supposedly it allows the plant to put more energy into bud production. I was told you want the leaf edges to curl just slightly but not too much. I wouldn't worry about it unless you get brown spotting or brown edges. Some of the healthiest plants I've seen are praying similarly with super healthy dark green leaves. I could be wrong though. I'm still a rookie and just regurgitating other peoples advice lol.

I've read about the praying for mag before. Though with my grows it always seems that when they are "praying" all is good and they are happy. I notice it most after well timed waterings. I never tried addressing the praying. Like I never tried to "fix" it. Looks good to me. Great lst'ing. Really is an easy way to increase yield every time. Keep up the great work Briain! :d5:

Where did you get that info from?I never heard of holding back the calcium,or wanting leaf curl..
