Thanks, ye i nearly ditched her!

I think, with DWC, we should call day 1 the first day the roots hit the water as the seedling stays so small until then, whereas in soil the start is faster.

I grew one of the NLxBB autos in soil and pulled over 4 oz from her. I'll be checking in to see how this one does in DWC. I'm starting my first DWC ride next week.

Won't be four ounces here, my light just ain't got the power.

So today something weird happened with my humidifier, it somehow leaked and there is weird brown stuff all over bottom of tent :

First time i've ran a humidifier, anyone seen this before ?

Also, my new fan that i got to replace the old fan that lost a lot of power - has now lost a lot of power.

May ditch this and do a soil grow.

Hey Steely, I've seen similar when running my humidifier with tap water. Kind of like black paint chips in the bottom or something like that. It's just mineral build-up from the water, and the manual for my humidifier said not to worry about it. But I would give it a close inspection to make sure it's not mold or some kind of other organic nastiness. If so, a good cleaning with bleach is in order.

She is 9 inches tall. Previously i overnuted her, now i've underdone it a little so will do the res change a day early and up her nutes today.

Ye she did but she doesn't now

A combination of undernuting and cold temps (14 in the res!) has done her no favours.

Damn, the camera nattery needs charging

Oh well, you can see how crap she is tomorrow.

On another note, i may take her down and go back to soil until i get a more powerful light, this light can't cope with the huge growth potential of hydro.

Those new GN lamps are looking VERY good
