Grow Mediums DWC setup ideas

Hi i was thinking about doing the dwc method next grow my tent is 2.5 x 2.5 ft. i got 1 240 blackstar i would be willing to get another one. I would be really happy with 1 - 1.5 oz of a plant whats the maximum plants can i fit in the space with dcw? what size of tote would you guys recommend? what are the advantages of getting either a bigger or smaller tote? really appreciate all your guys help!

hey ap77 check out the DWC grows on this forum lots of great ideas and knowledge to be gained following along with some of the DWC growers. you might find a system or method that will work for your space and needs.

If you're using DWC with 2 LED panels, i dont see why you couldnt get 5 - 10 oz per plant, maybe fitting 2 plants in that tent. If you space planting them out by about a month and a half, you will get a harvest every couple of months or so. :thumbs:

Whoo.5 to 10 oz per plant is way out of line for autos.I'm not saying it can't be done but it's highly unlikely you will get even near that amount.If you do your one hell of a grower.

I have to agree with namvet that 5-10ozs might be a bit over zealous, what ever amount of bud you end up with is the frosting on the cake first grow.... you would have been through your first hydro grow with all the trials and tribulations that comes with the learning curve, plus knowledge gained in the process.... then its time to see how much your second grow will bring I think youll be surprised.

Hey Toke, I would totally agree with you there, lots of trials and tribs.

I would also say that in a 2.5 x 2.5 tent, depending on the strain that you were going to grow, 1 plant might be all you could fit, if you want to check out how big the plants can get(not the biggest either!!) you can click on the two links in my sig, my cab dimensions are 1m20cm x 90cm, and you can see that two plants can get tight in there. True, I would never expect a first time grower to get that amount. But with the right setup I deffinitley dont think it would be out of the question. Just look at this guy's 271g TD just with a 400W HPS and coco

I know what your saying bambud most of us have seen insane grows and strive to be that successful as growers. I just didn't want a first time grower in DWC or any grow method to be disappointed with 1-2 zips thinking it should be 5-10 zips.... 5-10 zips hell but we have to learn to grow to get there.... great link and beauty lady that will make ya smile.
