If anyone could point me to a ph guide somewhere that would be brilliant , something that tells me whats what n what to do cheers

Hydro is on the left and Soil is on the right, this is a chart that shows what nutes are available at different pH levels.

I've never had to PH adjust my water in a soil grow... (My tap water is PH 7.8)

What soil & nutes are you using mate?

Soil: b&q verve multi purpose with 20-30% perlite
Nutes are oldtimers grow and bloom , not used the bloom yet just fed once with 2ml per litre of grow, as you can see below its repidly getting worse see pics below

I think that compost is probably your problem. its probably rich in nutes and burning your baby. I always go with the soils which I find with the least additives/nutrients. Just my opinion and I could be completely wrong but I'm sure composts are generally used to enrich soils.

Next time be sure to buy soil...not compost. They are not the same thing.

Ok :)

You have an organic grow on the go :)

If you PH adjust your water/feed then the best you will accomplish is to kill the micro herd & mess up your grow...

..Sorry guys, but it just has to be said! - You can not PH adjust on an organic grow as you will kill the soil & you would have been much better placed starting in coco with chemical grow 'soup' (I am a coco grower - I mean no slur!)

I've grown with verve Multi purpose compost & Old Timers - they are a great combination with a huge PH buffer... gimme 5 mins to look through everything again ....

you can use organic pH adjustment like vinegar and that will not kill your microbial environment. If you use water that hasn't been dechlorinated then yeah but you can adjust your pH just fine with organic means

OK.. not a lot of info to run with...

But! From what I see... your lighting is either insufficient (or too high), a foliar spray of Epson wouldn't hurt either...

I'm looking at the leaves & wondering about the feed... in general, they look a little light in there feed, however, I see a little 'claw' possibly happening in a couple of leaves.... however, lighting is also a major issue here from the look of the stretch she has.

I think your major problem is your lighting :( - what is your bulb(s) & floor space?

Agreed & a valid point too :)

However (without wanting to rain on anyone's parade!) B&Q's Verve Multi purpose compost & Old timers needs zero PH adjustment. It will self buffer the PH :)

IMHO this is a lighting issue :(
