El Cabinet

Took 3/4 weeks on and off. Went for ply wood pre mylar'd before putting the panels in. Mdf on the back so I can screw stuff to it.

Very simple design and everything in there is 100% portable which is key in growing as we have to adapt to different lights/temps etc.

Intake well under the plant level. Extractor right in the top corner, though isn't leaning on anything.

I screwed the fan to s slats of wood that the carbon filter rest on. Also used those excellent fast clamps to attach filter to the fan. Got some 5'' duct otw, then I'm underway.

Got something just a bit special for the 1st grow... G13 Purple Haze in a 30 litre airpot. Only 2 days old atm.

Been thinking about building one yourself? Do it, coz I'm shit at diy, coz you can do it in your own time and pace, you will get there though.

Even the shelf isn't dead level, more like stoner eye level!

It's very similar to setting up a tent, once you get the mylar on, it's only interior design.

Used rubbery/foamy strips £4.99 from B & Q to block the light in, that way the door can open and close and remain airtight.

Also by putting panels on the inside, like the mdf screwed to the roof, you can block out the light this way.

All in all, very pleased, just need to get a crop from there next 3 months. Lol

Hasn't been cheap, but still way cheaper than the grow cab shops. Also, I have spent extra to get it bang on.

Shelf is galvanised.

Back has mdf + ply, that way we could keep the mylar wrapped away.

Go on build one.. Lol Ya know u wanna!!! :-)

Pics to be added in next post...

Pretty sweet man! Like it! Would do the same if didn't have a tent, very covert!

Yeah thanks. It's really nice, stealthy mainly coz I grow in a conservatory. Just ordered a Budmaster II 450xg for in there. So cannot wait. Currently running the Blackstar chrome and a maxibright T5 in there.

Awesome man! Sounds good and looks stealthy :)

New led in there, fits like a glove. Has 3 inches of breathing space all the way round. Think growing area is 66cm x 45cm LOL so supreme output/par for the area. In each corner I have a Barneys Farm pineapple express. In the centre started 3 days later, my free seed, Northern lights x Big Bud :-)

6 litre air pots, 50% Bio Bizz coco, 40% Bio Bizz light mix, rest is perlite. This led is excellent, nice warm soil. No temp issues at all. Brilliant led. My plants are better than they usually are. Think they are 2 weeks old today. N/l xb/b is on day 11.

For me, it's the finished article now. Just gotta wait for my pineapple buddage :-)

That is one great looking cab you have made Stealthgrower
You have got that reflective stuff on there without air bubbles.....well done
:)

Stunted Construction

Had it sent out in a roll, not folded, so no creases. Also was really a lot easier fitting mylar to pre cut wood for that iron'd effect.

I love the cab. Especially with the new led and healthy young plants in.
