Hey Guys (that includes gals in my non gender specific way)

I went to an event yesterday here in Portland, OR. There was supposed to be High Time Cannabis Cup this past weekend but they never pulled it off. So, there were several people in town anyway as they had their plan in place. My friends who recently moved into a commercial kitchen for the Medible Business (Elbes Edibles).

They invited several seed breeders and such to a brunch which was quite good.

What was disappointing for me was the lack of any understanding of autos and from it seemed like to me, several people
who were highly thought of by my friends seemed to have egos bigger than Donald Trump. When I told one breeder that I mostly
grow autos, his first reaction to ask "Why?" in a demeaning tone. I think I finally got him to understand autos application is so much different than photoperiods and work for somethings photos don't. With legalization happening every where, autos are the perfect home gardens and patio pots hand down! Not everyone wants to grow trees! Really!

Here in Québec/Canada the logging electric meters have shown up and hence i'm concerned that these record at least 3 different parameters: voltage, current and phase. In terms of chronologic sequence that's a sampling rate of 1 reading every 5 minutes (or 3 over 15), apparently, so i finally decided no schedule other than 24-0 would be an option to me from now on - which i believe is also incompatible with all indoors non-auto projects...

It's such a vast universe, personally i'm quite enthousiast about a recent post. Lets see if i can relocate it. Hummm...

M'well... As i recall the author dared announce an ambitious -=& Low & behold! *=- CBD-related RUDERALIS project!!!

I'm not joking, it's always a good thing to have more resources in a toolbox, so i think we actually need new doors exactly like this one to open, even in a desperate way as the corporative lobbies are just about ready to kick in with all the money-grab waiting for them!...



Briefly put, Self-Sufficiency MUST remain an option, otherwise it's the law(s) that require some serious change. Once we've agreed on such a premice the next step is to use our legit toolbox... IMO it's better us than theirs anyway, which is why i found particularily stimulating to read this audacious proposal aimed at producing high-CBD medicinal plants (linked above) with Near-ZERO THC in them! But WHY?? The reasons may vary but this still appears to be an under-exploited resource to me, so i could easily imagine seeds financed by hobyists who only wish to appreciate the fragrances and beauty of a mesmerizing plant no government would seem justified to ban. M'well, hemp already is in Cannada but we may have a hope for some significant change of ambiance this fall, if lucky... Ruderalis AutoFem seeds would seem like a great way to start, with the medical patients in mind 1st, so nobody dares oppose this in public except obvious nostalgic hate-monger bigots, on the land of Harper...



Then, after a delay sufficient for things to settle a little, cross-breeding can begin to re-introduce new desirable features i guess, because i'm among those who believe balance is best in most things and i yet have to experience it with cannabis, m'well... I got some ~37 of Cannatonic at most, euh... No, i mean lets really really experience it, in a manner that counts: the long-term applications, naturally!

Now THAT is the crime of bigots at power, since 1885 in Québec considering the "Loi de Pharmacie" defined it as a "poison"... How ironic, while cannabis could as well grow in gardens or on balconies and yet nobody would even care or fear any thieves. Not any more than we seek tomatoes in our neighborhood today... But the bigots interveined and performed their failed social engineering models decades ago, appreciate the result: destoyed families (e.g. for example toxic parents with a martyr-child included!), even persons killed over "weed", etc., euh... In any case just too many bigot crimes causing permanent prejudice, as far as i'm concerned!!

Hopefully a day may come when it will be socially acceptable to allow Ruderalis AutoFems for starters. I can't think of a politician who would risk saying no to that, too bad such subjects will never please public medias.



But if it were publicized with focus on the High-CBD / Near-ZERO THC profile, then i'll bet the media might pick up, eventually... No?

I agree, auto's are new to me, I am an outdoor photo grower but you are right, these auto's have their place. I told some friends about autos and they had never heard of them before and are now they are very excited to try it so I am helping them set up pots they can grow small auto's in on their apartment balconies / small yards. there is no way they could do photos where they live. So the guy you were talking too sounds quite arrogant.
