Captain Howdy
A Lost Soul
Bravo dude,
You don't need to wait till the veils fully splits if you dont want to though.. From what I've read you'll actually be saving a bit of juice in the mycelium for your next round of mushies so could be worth a try, it's working well with mine, that is unless your using them for spore prints. Those others will be open by tomorrow so I'd give it a shot, start the second flush with a clean canopy, I found I broke off a few too many pins when I had to remove mushrooms I'd left growing from the previous flush. Just a thought.
Are you gonna dry them before testing or eating fresh??
Also, I don't remember seeing it, I'll have to go back through the thread later but this is the same stuff you had innoculating in the jars right? What was your method for starting the fruiting process? Did you just empty the jars into your container and mix with you bulking medium, or did you grate it, or just gently empty them and add a casing layer... must have missed that bit. I've seen a few different methods and I'd really like to try bulking up one or both of my new grows (one of which I stupidly called Thai's in my half asleep state the other night, they're not, they're Koh Samui's.... Sort of Thai's I guess). But yeah, thinking of using coco but just trying to figure out which is the best route, don't wanna be too aggressive and end up ruining it lol.
(I seriously hate touch screens, that took me ages to correct everything, a one armed sloth could have done a better job, need to get to my computer)
