Coming in October...Sweet Seeds grow! I have such confidence in Sweet Seeds genetics I'm going to be using only 3 of each strain to choose mothers for my project.

Hey dude, just caught this. It's not about confidence in the seeds, you need to be familiar with it's penotypes and their traits to breed a plant. Otherwise you don't know what you're selecting for and it's just pollen chucking. I have every confidence a few plants will give you something great, but how do you know you got that best there is to offer or even what the other traits might be with only three plants?

I'm going to choose the best of 3 then self it. From there my team and I will make another selection from a large # of possible mothers.
I'm doing this just as a small tutorial on how I make my selections. We normally grow at least 50 and as many as 120 to make a selection but I have an agreement with my team to not publicize any pics or specific info regarding where they grow.
I will probably use the 1 of the original 3 I choose and cross it with something just to see what happens and document it here but this is all just to show people the basics of how I make my selections. It will all be explained once I start the Sweet Seeds thread.:thumbs:

It's hard for me to keep my personal projects from being confused with my professional ones. I am trying to get a spot in the private breeders section to post only about Evol Seeds projects. That way everyone knows that any posts not in that thread are just my personal side projects. Sorry I'm so confusing lol.

Thanks doobie I thought it would be cool even if it is on a very small scale. It will be interesting to compare the different stages of growth and final product.
I'm harvesting the last of my current grow and expanding my personal setup in Oct so I have to wait until then to pop the Sweet Seeds. I wish I could do it now but I want to run them under the SS400 and that closet is FULL.
