Hello,
Anybody know of any good fan/filter combos? I’m up for two new ones but I didn’t like the ones I had. On both of them the ventilation hose that attached to the CO filter didn’t fit on properly and I had to do a horrible tape job get it to stay on.
Are there any setups were the hose fits on perfectly?
My tent sizes are:
3x3x6 : I have a 6 inch fan filter in there now
And
2x4x5 : 6 inch filter as well
I’m thinking of staying with same size , just looking for some pointers on good quality products.

Thank you

Hey man been a while since I seen you around bud. I use Phresh filters they are excellent. I get mine off Ebay 200cfm is like $80.00 ish. You wont be disappointed. I use cheap fans all they do is move the air so no need in spending a lot there. Vivosun has a 6in 390 cfm for 70.00 on Ebay. They have a 4in and 8in too. It also has a built in speed control.

Looks like Phresh filter is the winner. Thank you!
I’m still here lurking here and there. Been busy with finishing school but still growing a bunch. I hope all is well!

Another question-
Do I have to replace both the filter and the fan?? Or just the filter....

Always good to see you around. I remember you had issue with beans taken possibly, did you ever get your beans? When filter is done just get another 1, you may be able to remove flange on filter and put on other side and use more. Some you can to get more life out of cant remember if phresh is that way. I got 2yr out of my 1st 1 and still isnt done just change because it should be getting close and didnt want to have to do in the middle of grow. I have 1 in tent, 1 in room where tent is and have a cheapo in basement where I toke. I will be putting the old phresh in place of the cheapo. They are great, can is good too but I think more expensive. I wont spen a lot on a fan tho. Filter is where you need quality, it's what cleans fan just has to function lol. Hit me up if you want some links to cheap but well working fans links on Ebay. I use a cheap ass booster fan for my exhaust fan in tent. Never had any odor unless tent was open. I dont run filter until it starts to stink. You will get longer life that way. My filter is only on 6-8 weeks a grow. I'm frugal tho, I also scrape all the peanutbutter out of the jar too lol.

They were kindly replaced, but this time I changed delivery to my work instead of home. I asked a mail lady and she said towns have different routes for their mail. Some ahole along the way to my place has sticky fingers, and what sucks is that the post office can’t track that.
I hear on ya on getting the most use out of things ,my filters are almost black so I think it may be time for new ones lol
I will definitely look into the ones you mentioned , thank you for your help.

Anytime bud.

I use a 50cfm utility room exhaust fan light combo for my 4x8x6.5 room. I vent out of the grow room into a DIY carbon filter pictured here. A 6x4 smoke pipe reducer, 6" chimney cap, a short piece of wire fence, and Heppa air purifier filter replacement, total cost $30 for the fan and $25 to make the filter. $8 bus enough filter material to replace it twice.
