Hey guys, I just finished up a batch of feco. It's quite thick, but I probably should've let it it evaporate off for a tiny bit longer. Anyhow, it made it easier to fill syringes and now I got to wondering...does alcohol remaining eventually evaporate if left long enough in a syringe? Probably a dumb question, as the syringe is for the most part sealed and will probably remain until consumed? Anyone notice it get actually get thicker or solidify in a syringe?

Welcome to AFN. FECO is an edible so any remaining Ethanol is of little concern. Unless you have a vacuum chamber you cannot get it all to evaporate out.

I've made it a few times before, but always was able to take it to desired consistency. This time I took it off a bit too soon, so was just curious if anyone notices if it evaporates at all in a syringe.
I'm just not keen on the Ethanol burn/taste is all, not a big deal otherwise.
