it depends what the plant needs... seriously...
some guys have it tuned... and know what to feed a plant and whenit can take it... you can try it... and you may be fine... but if you overdue it you brn them... it also depends on many other factors:
temperature (growth rate)
humidity(transpiration rate)
lighting (photosynthetic rate and consequently growth rate / nutrient demand, water demand, transpiration rate etc)
so you see why it depends?
ok cool thanks
i kinda knew this already
but guys on here feeding every 2-3 days how is that possible
mine after a feed in bloom still take abouts 5 days to get that dry
no i know it varys from plant to plant and what age its at
but im trying to see where i might be going wrong
we know we need a new light
but is it as simple as we have not been feeding the right amount
that why i created this page
That's because some growers feed a specific amount per day, and don't water/feed to soak the soil, they just feed a liter (or the appropriate amount for the plant's size/growth) every day or two. TaNg has well ldocumented his feed schedule, and instead of watering deeply, he feeds/waters smaller amounts, either daily or close to it.
Other growers will figure out what the nute amount should be for the week, then split it into a couple feedings a week.
Still others will feed the whole week's nute amount in one watering, then just pH'd water the next.
For me, as my plants grow, the time between feeding and watering gets shorter- they're using more nutes and water as they grow-So, I need to adjust how often and how much they receive.
No doubt, feeding on a schedule like TaNg's will reap big plants, and legendary yields. That said, it isn't just the schedule. Nam is right- its a pretty complex combination of things that come into play.
I guess that was a little advanced, disregard post and I apologize.......

right i see, so atm im probably doing alright, and since im using cfls its not gonna be as efficent as say an led so it will prob not take up as much water etc

yes yes... cfl's arent nearly as powerful as most of the led sleds you see on here or HPS or MH or any other HID light. If you wanna boost yields... invest in more lighting firepower... and be ready to cool for it as well.
