New Grower feeding amount

I don't want to sound like it is dogging your style or setup but most do not use CFL's as a main light source(there just arent enough lumens). To Paraphrase Mr.Ganjamoto(who most believe holds the world record for an indoor auto weighing 1000gs dry) I would not use CFLS to do anything other than illuminate a toilet stall. Put it this way if you used a decent LED or a 400 watt HID light your plant would be 5 or 6 times as big. You did a great job growing your plant the only thing lacking in my opinion is light(I am going off the pic in the other thread) Now I know that it is easy to say "yeah just grab a grownorthern or 400 watter" but those things cost money and if funds are tight or low and CFL's are your only option do some research and see what people are yeilding who actually use CFLS. That will give you a realistic expectation of what you can acheive.

It is almost not fair to yourself to see these monster grow journals and compare yourself to them when it is not apples to apples.

yeh i checked tangs but could see feed amounts, that why i was like wtf every 2-3 days
but yeh other things come in to im getting that now so considering were using cfls prob not getting as good light so not photosysing that well so prob not drinking as much water maybe

And a good example of what derek420colorado says would be your CFL lighting. You can def put enough CFLs in a grow to get to an optimum amount of light, but it may make the grow tent/room so hot that it screws up the room biology- to hot, so heat stress, etc. So, even though the amount of light rocks, the heat from the light drys out the plants too quick, and stresses the plants out.

damn not even a toilet light, jeeez yeh we did get this on a budget but we are looking to upgrade since were seeing progress
and yeh im not trying to like compete but i can compare and yeh is a bit disheartening but hey i know its not gonna be a beast i just thought instead of getting new led, prehaps theres somthing else i can do like with the feed

no there good ecolights made to do this

And please take what you have done as a succsess! I can see by the frost on that plant that it will be some suuuuuuuper good smoke. Treasure it, taste it and use that as your building platform. With the amount of light you had I am surprised that the plant is as big as it is, you have done virtually everything else right from what I can tell, and that is NOT the case for most folks just starting out growing.

I had to kill probably 15 plants before I got one to harvest, so if you did it with your first you have a very big head start. Hope this has helped and keep at it, you are doing great now you face the same problem EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US has, what do I spend my money on now to upgrade my equipment.

I have not seen anyone be exempt from this, because at a certain point the only thing limiting your yeilds and potency is the equipment, and believe me there is always something "better" or at least different than what you have now. Sending good vibes your way my dude!

thanks for everyones advice even if it made me go cross eyed lol
but yeh were thinking its not a feeding problem even though i could prob do with some more boosters
but what most counts is getting a light that has a better spectrum and penetrates further
