Grow Mediums feeding style with coco

Well i have five plants and i use a gal jug and split it between them all. And they just don't dry out quick enough for many days and moons haha. Temp is usually 79 80 with a small fan pointing over the tops of the smart pots. Our classic powdery friend already reared its ugly face but it was sprayed and is gone for the most part. I just want to water everyday to get hydro results not soil results.

I think you can decide yourself how to feed in coco, some treat it like soil others like hydro.personally i am feeding my girl 2.3.4 times a day depends how i feel and she loves it.

Wow shes pretty. I think my staying wet problem comes from to big of a pot 3 gal all the way up to 5gal. What light system do u have her under?
she is under a mars 2 400w led in a 15ltr airpot.mine is constantly wet i never let her dry just like hydro my roots are constantly wet but the coco and perlite have so much oxygen retention the roots have all the oxygen they want and every time you feed they get fresh oxygen aswell

Hey carl your issue might be aeration or light hight. Im running canna coco with 35-40% perlite substitute. And 250 led watt draw.but they are in the grow battle vs goauto. they are at 40 days in the pic. 18tall and going by 24-26in wide. 3gal fabric pots as well

In the bbeginning I watered every 3days when seedlings and increased to 1 liter and then instead of increasing amount. Increase freq. And as long as your roots are established they will explode once you get to 1 a day or more

Imho you usually dont get Powder mildew from feeding to much. That is algae. PM is usually associated with poor airflow in the grow room. Try circulating the air in the room and or boost your air exchange rate in the grow area.

No I havent run into that issue, but thats why I do haircuts to keep airflow in the canopy.preventative maintenance vs reactionary maintenance
