New Grower Finally my beans arrive for my first led dwc grow.

How did u lose the td seedlings? Any lessons learned to share? Also, how do you like the oxy pots? Are they a good turnkey dwc bucket?

Hi Smeghead.

Sadly i never placed the cubes into the clay pebbles far enough.
Also nute level too low from base of the net pot.
The end result was the roots appeared slightly but dried up as they were too far away from the nutes.
As for the one that sprouted on my 2nd attempt.
I left her in a propagator in a small cube for 5 days then placed about an inch worth of clay pebbles in the base of the net pot built into the lid of the oxy pot bucket.
Filled bucket with ro water and plant start and placed the lid on-bubbles should be seen breaking through the inch of pebbles in the base of the net pot.
Then i placed another 2" of clay pebbles to the net pot so no bubbles are visible and then placed base of rockwool cube onto these.
I then filled the remaining space around the cube with more pebbles until level with the top of the net pot and cube.
Within 4-5 days i had roots.
This grow is my first for many years and a very good learning curve too.
When this td finishes i will go again but without the errors hopefully.
As for the oxy pot,i think they are a great explosive way to grow but do need a bit of attention ie nuke temps especially as this could cause mould/bacteria in your bucket.
Luck on my side at the mo temp of nutes is 21c due to weather in uk and intake fan drawing cool air onto side of bucket :-)
But come summertime a nute chiller is on order for my next grow.
Also everytime i change my nutes everything and i mean everything is scrubbed in a bath of water with hydrogen peroxide in it to clean all items prior to use.

Good luck and thanks for stopping by.
