Indoor First Grow 2x4 Tent 600 W HPS

Thanks for the input guys! I watered them each tonight with 2cups of water with 1/2tsp big bloom and 1/4tsp grow big. Just gonna take the nutes real slow for now. I've got 3 that are huge and 3 others a bit behind. Not sure if its the pheno or something else. Hoping to start LST tomorrow on at least the 3 big ones. Will update with pics before and after. Those damn fungus gnats are getting ridiculous. Hopefully my sns 203 will be here soon. I should be getting my new exhaust tomorrow. Hopefully if its not too loud I can run it and up my light to 600w.

They seem to have responded well to the feeding last night. My critical jack did have one small brown tip which may have been either heat stress or nute burn. Ill keep a close eye on it. Otherwise I plan on giving them straight water with they're next feeding. They sure are growing fast now. Here's a pic from today...

Looking good!

Question: Did that tray your pots are in come with your tent?If not, where did you get it?

Dude, loving the plants! They are looking nice! I wouldn't play with the lights too much anymore, just started my first grow too an have seen alot about autos loving a set dark period but I mean, your doing a good job anyway! Keep up the nice work :)

Thanks! I'm running 18/6 for the entire grow. I've got my light about 18in above them. I could lower it but it doesn't cover the whole tent very well with the cool tube. In the future I want to invest in a much better hood.

Really excited tonight. Got my new exhaust today and have it all hooked up for when the lights turn on tonight. This fan is awesome! It's very powerful. At first it was pretty loud and was pulling too hard. The walls of my tent looked like they would collapse lol. I can't afford the speed controller yet so what I did was rig up another icecream bucket diffuser. This has made the fan very quiet and it isn't pulling as hard. I realize long term this setup would affect the life of the fan. It doesn't seem to be affecting it tho. No odd noises or anything. Hoping it will hold me by a few weeks while I save up for my speed controller.

Also it's been getting pretty skunky. I'm still saving up for a carbon filter so what I did in the mean time is fill the icecream bucket diffuser with dryer sheets. This works amazing! No more smell at all and I can always add new dryer sheets.

I attached the fan to a piece of plywood for support and also created a housing for it out of the box to help with sound.

I also built a new shelf for my ballast.

Here's some pics...

Good, stuff bubbles. Good idea.atleast making a spoof until you can get a filter.

I remember plugging my fan in before attaching the ducting and I was freaking out about how loud it was. It would be hard to.explain to the neighbors why It sounded like I was running a leaf blower indoors 24/7 haha

At this point I'm wondering if ill even need a speed controller. It's amazing how much that icecream bucket deadened the sound. It's still very powerful cuz I can see the walls being pulled in and it's still blowing a ton of air through the holes on the bucket. The motor doesn't sound like its straining or anything with the resistance.

Now I just need my sns 203. The fungus gnats are so bad I'm starting to see them around the house. I have fly papers I'm going to hang around after I apply the sns. Figured no point hanging papers til I kill the eggs.

I noticed a gnat ortwo flying around my struggling CJ yesterday.I just introduced alot of coco to my tent aso, which fungus gnats apparently love... Hopefully it doesnt become a problem. The sns 203 eliminates the eggs? I should probably start arming myself now before the problem gets worse
