Indoor First Grow 2x4 Tent 600 W HPS

Well I decided to move my tent from underneath the stairs to a spare bedroom in my basement instead. Hoping heat will not be an issue anymore. I have the exhaust going straight into the room but its much larger and has AC. If I have to I can vent out a window but then ill have to build a stealth window box. So far the temps are right at 80 with the light at 600watts. Finally I'm able to run my light to the max and hopefully the best bang for my buck. Here's a few pics of the move...

Woke up this morning and checked the tent out in its new home. Temp was 100!!! The ducting came off my inline fan in the middle of the night. I believe I've got the temps under control again. I turned my light back down to 400watts and moved my intake duct to try and get cooler air. It was down to 85 when I left this morning.

Also, the room itself was feeling quite a bit warmer. It's a standard size bedroom with central AC. I was hoping I wouldn't need to build a stealth exhaust box to go over my window but I may be forced to. Ill know for sure when I stop home for lunch.

Stopped at home during lunch. Damn duct came off my fan again. I've really got it taped on their good now so shouldn't be a problem anymore. Now my temps were at 82-85.

The only problem now is the room is getting too hot. I've cracked a window and ran my 4in intake by the window with a fan blowing air into. Our weather has been really cool lately so hoping ill be ok like this until harvest. Otherwise ill be building a stealth window box to exhaust directly out of the window. I should be getting my carbon filter this friday. Ill post a full update tomorrow. Here's a few pics for now...

Thats the fucking worst, I had a period where my duct kept flying off also. They sell these adjustable clamp things in the ducting section for like 3 bucks if it continues to be an issue. Im sure you will get the temps dialed in. Any signs of heat stress?

I have several clamps unfortunately my 6 inreducers don't fit my 6in cool tube or 6in fan perfectly otherwise id use the clamps. Another member on my other forum journal suggested lining it with weatherstrip to get a better seal. Might try that in the future.

Fortunately I've seen no heat stress so far. I'm very lucky considering it was up to 100 for who knows how many hours. I may be experiencing a little stunting on my sprouts but the longer they take the better anyways cuz I need the autos harvested first before I flower my photos.

My temps seem to be under control now. Ill know for sure when I get home tonight. If they're still too high ill just need to buy more ducting so I can run my exhaust out of the window. Hoping I don't have to do that cuz I'm broke and can barely afford meds as it is lol

Temps are under control finally! Had it down to 78 last night :)

I also decided to take my seedlings out of the tent and made a little area to veg, clone and start seedlings.

Ill do a full update on my lunch today.

Update Day 41:

They were looking a little droopy earlier today, however, they did perk up quite a bit after these pics. The furthest along is my Berry Ryder 3. The largest is my Berry Ryder 2. It was originally the runt and I accidentally broke the main stalk yet it's my largest plant now lol. My favorite is the blue cheese. It has tons of tops and they are really bright green. I did water/feed them yesterday. I have each plant 4 cups including:

1tblspn Molasses
1tsp Epsom salt
1tblspn Big Bloom
1tblspn Grow Big
1tblspn Tiger bloom

I've also changed my light cycle to 20/4 mainly for scheduling purposes. My temps are fluctuating quite a bit. It's maxing out at 86 and minimum is 62. I'm actually excited about the low temp cuz this might help me get some purple in my Berry Ryders. It keeps spiking up and down because the room is in the basement and the AC usually turns on/off from the upstairs temps. W

What I'm thinking of doing is either setting up a window box to exhaust outside or I may also run the duct to a separate room and just use it to heat my basement.

I apologize for the crappy pics. I was in a rush. Ill update again next week with better pics.

Are you going to Lst the photo's? Looking good man keep up the good work.

Not sure about the photos yet to be honest. Mainly I want to clone them so I think ill let them grow normally. Then when I get my 4x4 tent I will either grow just the clones and keep the mothers in my 2x4 tent or grow the clones in the 2x4 as a sog and maybe grow the mothers in the 4x4 under a scrog.

Finally got my carbon filter on :)
