Hi there guys I am about to buy my setup for a grow and was just wanting to make sure it's good equipment and if I need anything els.
I have a limited grow space and the 60x60x140 tent is what I will have to grow in. I want the max yeild as posable with the budget of £250 and would like to get it all from amazon.co.uk. Thanks

Remove that LED panel from the list its a waste of money, that is a low end cheap light and won't do anything for your benefit. Also with that open winged hood your temps will get high, as opposed to a fully air cooled hood if you can exchange/move the air you will be ok.

Also that 600 watt hps might be a bit over kill for only a 2 x 2 tent, you might consider going with a 400 watt hps it will be easier to control the temps... OR going with a nice LED light that is of decent quality

Yup, just not up to the task....need more watts than that (the aforementioned LED panel). Even for side lighting. For a small tent, I would also just switch up to a 240W or 300W LED or 2X 180W LED UFO's.

Much easier to control temps. and more of energy is translated to light as opposed to heat. My 2 cents.

Everything else looks rarin' to go!

Good Luck!

I was going to use the led for the seedling then move it under the 400w would it still be to weak
Thanks

Just move the 400W up real high...generally the same effect....I guess the vertically challenged tent may make that easier said than done...:)

for someone on their first grow you seem to give a lot of advice that possibly you aint got a clue about!! is your advice what youve learnt by reading?

For someone with so much experience you sure contributed to this thread. . . . . ? Shut down anyone else or are you done? Now your setup sounds legit and your budget is in realms of reality so I think your going to end up with a good setup. Just listen to the guys from afn, most of them!

The led panel teir talking about is not efficient, its a bad buy overall. You could find something for the same price to do a more effective job. I would stick with one hps and play with height myself. Ive never lost a seedling due to intense ligting... Anyways best of luck.

I agree with L.A.B but if you get a dimmable balast you could dim it down....Chance are your gonna upgrade in size any way so the bigger light will move on up to a 5 X 5 space.....
