This is my first grow and I have 3 AWW at 25 days old, 3 more at 12 days old and 1 Blue Automazar thats about 2 weeks old I think. Despite a hard start with high temps and problems with lights, the oldest AWW are thriving. The second batch are a little stunted because I thought adding some root booster and another enzyme would be a good idea. I didn't think they were actual fertilisers but looks like they were because I got nute burn! Lesson learned.

The 1 BAM in the tent is the only one I managed to germinate out of 7 seeds. Not sure what the problem was but its slowly taking off this week thank fook.

I water about once a week until I get some run off and use ph'd bubbled water. I added half strength nutes this week to the older plants and they really shot up but now my leaves are curling down. Is this over watering or over fertilising? The one in the 3rd pic is the worst. The soil was dry up to my knuckles before watering.

I also tied down a few shoots yesterday to let more light in to the younger leaves as they were fairly shaded by the older, bigger leaves. Is this OK or should I leave them for a few more weeks?

I've spent months reading forums but it doesn't seem to help much when you're dealing with the real thing lol!

The homework will pay off. And someone is usually around to help you out or say good job. :High 5:

Very ambitious first grow, keep the pics comin. What are you growing in? Do you measure ph out?

:peace:

I figured that seem as I almost kill them on a weekly basis, I may as well have another batch as a back up! :D:

I'm using Plagron Grow-mix as soil and setting my water to between ph 6.2-6.5. I haven't checked the ph of the run off yet so I will do that next watering hopefully.

I'll be posting pics here every few days and hopefully they'll stop curling soon and start looking a bit healthier

My plant had exactly the same I was advised the curling of the leaves is caused by too much Nitrogen intake, what nutes are you using?

Im using Plagron Terra nutes that came with my grow kit. Theres terra grow, power roots and pure enzyme for the growing phase and terra bloom and green sensation for flowering. Last week I put a few drops of the grow, power roots and enzyme in their water. Only about 1/8 dose I'd say and this week went to half strength. The leaves are awfully green and aren't really drooping so I was thinking it might be a problem with the nutes and not overwatering. Should I just leave them to recover or try flushing them with clean water? I don't want to add overwatering to my list of problems either lol

I might add that they don't seem to be stunted and there's new leaves shooting out everywhere but they are a bit wilted or curled looking compared to the old leaves.

I havent used plagron but i have a veg stage nute thats high nitrogen so I use 1/4 strength with that and 1/2 dose on my micro nutes about 18-21 days from seed for a week then up them slowly with each feed

Good luck on your first grow man! I'm also growing AWW and it's my first indoor grow. I'm loving it!

Looking forward to your updates:High 5:

Any tips specific to Aww? Apart from take it easy on the nutes lol

If its caused by nitrogen, should I still use the micro nutrients or just play it safe and feed water for a while?
