And yep Botlowsky, definitely first time, though I already have my later grows in mind. I'm defo getting another Grow Northern light and I'm looking at those Potz 1 pot flood and drain systems as I'd like to do 3 plants regularly and different strains (with different nute requirements) so i'm drawn to those!

I do love the hempy as my first, but I'm just keen to try lots of different things before I settle... though I'm fairly convinced I'll always be using hydro of some sort!

Minor update. Everythings thickening up nicely across the canopy, especialy on the TD. Hoping in the next few weeks I get the big boost I know autoflowers get, but sitll, I'm happy with progress!

Hey all,

My experiment with adding the screen for support after veg wasn't a success on TD. I kept seeing how many sides weren't being pulled back as effectively as they could be. It worked great on Starryder as she's filled out the screen nicely, but TD is just too much of a jungle!

I removed the screen and exposed the rest of the plant as best I could, it's very clustered just now!

Hey all,

I removed Starr's screen too After seeing how many extra sites I exposed by pulling back and leaf tucking I gave it a shot.

I also started them on some molasses with today's feed to try and counter the ongoing calcium deficiency I seem to be facing! I've also been roaming the PH between 5.8 and 6.2 to help nutrient absorption.

Once I removed her screen I realised her main cola bud was waaay bigger than anything TD had, it's made me realise she's far more of a beast than I thought. Hopefully it continues!

Hey guys,

Little update. Crap pic because I used my phone not my good camera as it wasn't charged!

Everything's coming up nicely, just starting week 11 I believe and I'm thinking of running for closer to 100 days to give the LED's a bit of extra time.

I also got my Pax vape today, so starting to quit the ol' tobacco. It was a toss up between that and another GN light, but I'm wanting to see how the single one does over the 100 days and judge what else I think I want for my next undertaking afterwards. I'l have cash then for the next light or so anyhow.

Thanks Meefchief! I'm off on holiday tomorrow morning for 2 weeks. I have a mate plant-sitting with explicit instructions on what to do so hopefully I come back to a nice boost!

I plan to run both for about 100 days, anyone know if Starryder is fine for that? Both plants are still very green with no sign of yellowing yet so I'm feeling fine about pushing them that bit extra with flush starting on the 16th but if anyone has any counter info it's much appreciated!
