New Grower First Grow DWC LED - Think Different Any Advice?

Hi Everyone Im New To The Site And I Have Done A Couple Of Experiments With DWC and I Think I've Got It Figured Out

This Is Week One
This Is A Couple Of Days After
This is today start of week 2
Another view of her @ week 2
and these are the roots

i am using canna aqua range
i also add 4 drops of 14% h202 to my 15ltr bucket its been great at keeping the roots clean
room temp @ 22c or 71f
humidity @ 55 - 60%

things looking good to me but would like to know if things can be improved

Hi guys
just a quick update and maybe some help needed
just done a res change 1 or 2 days ago just after the last pic
I switched the nutes from
canna start and rhizotonic
too a light dose of canna vega part a and b and and the normal dose of rhizotonic
my roots seem to have gone a little brown they don't feel slimey to the touch or anything could this be nute stains or should I start by cleaning the bucket and giving fresh nutes

It may be nute stain and if it is maybe you're feeding them too much. Your ppm should read about 300 to 400 at that age, IMO. I am not familiar with either canna vega or rhizo so I don't how dark they are. Here are my roots at 77 days, almost ready to harvest. I added Aqua Shield to every feeding and flushed with Drip Clean to maintain a nice root system. I know it's another added expense but money well spent.

Hey for what it's worth, a bit of browning of the roots is somewhat normal . I have used Hydrogen Peroxide 1 cap to the gallon 1 day a week with good results, I guess at this point I have a question for you, How are the plants doing above ground? Because if the roots are browning a bit & the above ground plants are doing well you might just want to keep an eye on things for a day or 2 & if the plants show no sign of trouble, I would say why fix what ain't broke? I was told never to use peroxide / H202, it destroys all the good bacteria as well. If you do decide to use H202 it needs to be food grade which is very expensive. Also, make sure your rez temp stays below 70 degs, over 70 degs is just inviting problems. If rez temps get too high just put in a frozen water bottle and always keep one in the freezer.
