mmm. grape ape(Wheredaweedat that's some nice progress! From seeing that I think I might LST later today. I'm just scared of screwing it up since this is my first grow and I've been working really hard on it (probably harder than I should lol).
Any tips for LST?
Thank you, thank you! Im rather impressed with her myself. Even if its not textbook LST, whatever it was that I did, she liked it lol. -Random side note cause im high- i love seeing people refer to LST as plant bondage. So to speak, shes got a little kink in her - dun dun dun chhhhh BAZINGA! hahahahah:roflcry:
ANYWAYS lol
Gonzo said that NL is not very tolerant to malpractice so I would be horrendously careful.
But as far as any tips for LST..I cant recall where I read this - but when I was first reading up on LST I saw one thing that I hadn't seen anywhere else in my LST travels; and that was (did i use that semicolon right? lol) to make sure the plant is not in the least bit thirsty before doing any pulling as the water makes the stem more...pliable if you will.
GOLD.
I ended up almost snapping off a lower branch because my pots were light but I figured they'd be fine as long as I was gentle...lies. all of it. As soon as I felt/saw it happen I pushed the dangling stem back in place and used a small piece of duct tape to keep her there. The tape basically acts as a band-aid cause it also blocks out any type of infection that could get in through the 'wound'.
And dear god, start slow lol especially since, like myself, you dont know a whole lot about LST. But other than that I really dont have any other tips..But taking it slow and making sure she is watered before you do any adjustments/tying, you shouldnt have any problems.
