Looking good, GG! Getting to be time to add in some bloom nutes. I have to say, I've seen some growers culitvate weed in upside down tomato bags, but for a beginner you've really mastered the technique. :roflcry:

Hey growgirl looking nice! I also snapped a stem today when i accidently hit my vent and it fell on them. Well, the show goes on :) You can check mine so you can compare a little ;) Anyway you can wait a day or two to see if vertical growth has really stopped. Im on 37 days and only 2 of my flowers got bloom nutrients today :) Keep it up :D

yep - the shriveled browning pistil is 100% normal.
Even though I've completed one grow so far, I still get paranoid about light burn when I see a few pistils starting to brown up and shrivel.

On the softer side of sears- lol- you have definitely started to flower- which IMHO is the most fascinating and exciting part.
We've ALL been in awe when we get a bag of seriously frosty nugs, but when you've never been up close and personal with a ganj plant before (not to mention a ganj plant that you grew yourself) its a whole different story. Last grow I would spend 45 minutes, several times a day just....gawking at them, baffled that I grew it They were MY plants.

I still visit my girls and play paparazzi, just not for nearly as long lol

And just because you see she's started to flower, don't immediately cut out growth nutes. Keep mixing the grow nutes as you are now, and start to slowly introduce the flowering nutes and cutting back on the grow for a week or two. If you cut growth nutes now, upward growth will stop because the plant is concentrating on making buds..and while yes, that is ultimately what we want, the bigger the plant the more plentiful the end result will be.

She is, however looking, lovely. Keep up the good work!

I snapped my main stem last night-today it is reaching for the light....unbelievable!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! The semester is coming to a close and work has been pretty hectic. Anyways, here are some updates!

Mostly all vertical growth has stopped in my girl. I've been feeding flowering bytes pretty regularly. PH is still a problem in her soil, but from what I can see, it's not causing any problems physically yet. A LOT of white pistils and bud sites(:

I also germinated and planted another seed (NL Again) and it sprouted yesterday! I'll take some pictures once it gets a little bit bigger!

Day 45

Hey everyone, today is day 45 from sprout. The flowers are growing by the day! And they're pretty frosty too! Some of the leaves are getting brown spots though, I'm thinking potassium def, but I've been feeding regularly. The pH is still too low, maybe it's lock out? I already added a lot of dolomite lime, about a sable spoon more than I should have actually, and it didn't help. Any ideas? I'm not even possible the issue is pH, but it most likely is. Some of the lower leaves are yellowing as well.

Hey gg. Wish I could add to every ones expert comments, but I am a new grower like your self. But from the looks of your plants and progress, you are not only in great hands but ahead of the game so far :)

Learned a lot from you journal, and inspired me to make one as well.

Very nice work, as to every one else who has put so much information. Guess it's true, takes a village to raise a child ;)

Good luck, can't wait for those yield numbers.

Hi gg. I'm growing the same strain as you, I'm 10 days behind you. I've also got yellowing leaves at the base of the plant. I have been told it's nothing to worry about. Check out my journal, link in my sig. She looks good!
