Your plants are looking real nice. A few strains that I've grown that aren't too smelly include Snowryder, Pakistani Ryder, Duurty Dragon, Bad Betty, and Onyx. Probably best to stay away from anything with diesel in it.

Regarding the fan and filter, here's what I use:

A Vortex brand fan may be a little quieter, but they are a bit more money. Using some rubber between the wall and the fan mount helps to isolate some of the noise and vibrations. Since you're using LED lights you should be able to run it at a lower speed to reduce the noise and still get good circulation and odor control. I'd suggest installing a variable speed controller on the fan so you can slow it down some.

In the process of my second to last feeding before I flush and the biggest MI5 of the bunch has started....to go purple @_@!

Sweet! It's the Afghani influence in it. I had some go purple when I grew them outdoors late in the season. The colder night time temps brought it out.

So where to begin...sorry about no recent updates, been super busy.

Chopped all 4 girls on day 74. The past few weeks were as uneventful as most of the grow. I'm extremely happy with what I got but a little disappointed that my girls never really got 'fat'. I'm not sure what the cause could be as I never saw any signs of deficiency or problems at all really the whole grow.

For my next grow I may try something other than the botanicare cns17 line. If anyone has any recommendations for a solid hydro line thats bargain or moderately priced I'd love to hear them.

The group shot has almost everything in frame, I'm excited to see how much I got once its jarred.

I'd look into the Hydro Herb formula for a 1 part, easy, cheap fertilizer. Then get the Blossom Booster (10-30-20) to use for week 3 & 5 of flowering (probably around week 6 & 8 from seed), and use only that for a feed for those weeks. A 25# bag of Hydro Herb would likely last anyone growing, say, 10-15 plants on a continual basis, around a year at least. I've had my Jack's hydro/calcium nitrate for a year and am not even halfway through the 25# bags of each. I spent about 70 bucks shipped on these nutes. For 18 months worth, not too bad.

I had about 150g of wet trim, so estimating about 30g or so when dry. I'm not sure if I want to make qwiso, cannabutter, or green dragon. For any of these can I use the trim straight from wet/frozen or should I let it dry out first?

Also, if say I made qwiso and let it fully dry out/evaporate then water cured it, would it still be good to grind and make cannabutter with? Or are most of these methods one choice only?
