Hey guys and gals! So its been about a year since I have joined this wonderful community and have done nothing but soak up tons of valuable information. I like many others have decided to ditch the dealer and take the plunge. My goal here is to successfully harvest 5 plants in total. I have 3 Cream Caramels from Sweet Seeds and 2 Purple Cheese from Auto Seeds. Equipment is as follows; 2x4x5 tent, 3 gallon nursery pots, 400 watt mh/hps w/ digital ballast, 6 inch cool tube w/ reflector, 4 inch 190cfm inline exhaust fan, 6 inch clip on fan..... I am using ProMix BX w/ General Organics Go Box Any help and guidance from anyone is welcome! Well hope you all enjoy!:D

sounds like a great grow  with the 3l pots do you plan on growing them out till the end in them??
If so i would try go for bigger pots if you want a nice yeild unless you are not fused then keep them i use bestween 7L and 10L pots :smokebuds:

Alright so I pre soaked all 5 beans in cups of distilled water with a ph of 6.3. 24 hrs later placed in moistened paper towels. 24-48 hrs later all but 1 purp cheese had nice quarter to half inch tails. Replaced the un-germed PC with a fresh (hopefully viable) one. Planted the 4 beans in pre soaked promix and on Oct 29th, all 3 of my cream caramel ladies broke soil. Oct 30th the 1 purp cheese broke soil. Placed my cooltube about 24 inches from the tops of my babies and they seem to be loving it. Temps are at 80f for the high and 73 for the low. RH is about 50%........ Final purple cheese broke soil today! Oh yeaa! Have not watered since pre soak because pots feel heacy, and I want them roots to stretch out and not get lazy on me lol. I will post pix this weekend for u kind folks. My avatar is the first CC to pop her head into this world.

Hey si1984 I am using 11 liter pots or 3 gallon. Sry if I wrote 3 liter I meant 3 gallon bro.

I have a question for anyone who can answer...

Whats the best way to tell if seedlings need water? I tried the knuckle deep test when I found the top of the soil dry. None of it really stuck to my finger but was somewhat damp to the touch. Should I be keeping the top layer moist during seedling stage? Perhaps a small watering of 50 ml or so? Any imput much appreciated! Heres a couple pics of my oldest CC lady at 4 days today. Wait I dont know how to post pics frm my phone when I click the picture thing it asks for a url. I dnt have urls on my phone pics. Il figure it out

Hi MrCaaks damp to the touch means plenty of water, if you water that whole three gallon pot at the begining, you're looking at a week to 10 days before it should need water again, and you're on the right track, wanting the roots to look for water. Good luck with your grow :peace:

:smokebuds:Just water them completely until yuo get water coming out bottom of pot. Lift the pot and feel the weight when fully watered, than let dry until pots are feel light weight and that will be the time you water again. This is a good rule to follow butif the plants look a little droopy they also need water.

Thanks guys appreciate the quick responses! I guess I cant upload pics from my phone I tried attaching from advanced menu. I will update with pics when I get to a computer!

I can't wait to see how your purple cheese turns out bro I'm subbed up :thread:
