I would place the ground flowers on a piece of aluminum foil, pull the sides up and make it like a small dish. Put another small piece of foil on top and pinch the edges. The idea here is to have all your material laying flat to decarb evenly. place on a cookie sheet and go 250* for 27 minutes. Pull out and then drop it in your pyrex with 2 oz. of your highest alcohol. Place the pyrex measuring cup in a pot 1/3 full of water. Turn on the stove to med high heat and when the water starts to boil, turn it down a bit. a small boil is what we are after. Give it a stir 1 or 2 times while it reduces by half. Then place some cheese cloth over a mason jar and push it into the top to kind of make a small bowl for the plant matter to lay in, while it strains and hold it in place with a rubber band. Let it cool a bit before you strain it. After the mass of plant matter has cooled, I like to fold up the cheese cloth and put the whole wad into a garlic press and squeeze the crap out of it over the jar. you will be amazed at how much more liquid you can get out of it!! Put the green dragon in your favorite tinc bottle and its ready after it cools. I use the green matter in a smoothy and dont throw it out!! Now, a bit on this recipe, be very careful on dosing!!! I tried 2 droppers the first go and tripped so hard I thought I was going to need to call an ambulance!!! VERY POWERFUL!! Enjoy it, Not only will it make your pain go away, but it is fun to try different strains. Indy dominant will be great for pain, and sleep depending on how long you let the plant go. If you take the plant early, it will turn out very uppity and giggly!! NOW, if you use a sativa, dude, that is just a all around great time to go out and do stuff!!! Hope this helps and most important, be careful and dont burn yourself and blow your self up!!! You are dealing with high proof alcohol and hot liquid. Enjoy!!
If you are wanting to make a double batch, I would recommend doing a small batch at a time. For some reason it has thrown my tincs off when I try and double it or triple it!! Just my "My 2 cents"
