ok ph is at 5.9 not a happy chappy. Hopefully over the next 3 days i can get this turned round. I will do the lime 1 more time this time i'm going to dissolve the hydrated lime bit by bit until i think it's job done then check ph again. Hope it works cos they are looking terrible

Be very cautious with the hydrated lime as too much can cause root damage. It's only been about 3-4 days since you gave it the and it does take a bit to raise the pH and it's come up a couple of points already. If you do feed it again, I would suggest only using half of what you gave the first time.

Maybe i'm being a wee bit inpatient and expecting things to happen overnight i just want to get this sorted asap, do you have any idea why or how this has happened? also if you take a quick peek at the other 2 dwarfs they are way greener than the other 2??? scratching head at the mo

As I said in post #79, the Plant Magic web site doesn't say if there is any dolomite lime in their mix. If not, that's likely what's causing the problems. You might want to email or call them to verify that.

Lime is slow acting, especially dolomite. Hydrated is faster acting but also toxic if used in excess. I generally find hydrated takes 3-4 days to start moving the pH. Dolomite can take weeks.

Thanks muddy i will mail them and give them a good boot up the arse. Tomorrow will tell me all fingers crossed. I have the cal/mag plus npk but i will wait until the ph is in line until i start using them. Hope this works. I'm starting to see the cola on 1 fatten up :drool: thc dripping from the leafs she's a pure tease

sorry not been on. Ph has risen to 6.5 slowly getting there. Leaves are still yellow and brown spots but the buds keep growing tf. Pics will be up tomorrow. Down to the last 2 weeks can't wait.

Sorry folks not been on to be honest a wee bit pissed off with myself, i cant wait to get on with the next 1.
