Hi guys, hope you are all well! If you're reading this, I'd like to make an attempt at making some brownies today, however being that the flower costs me €50 per 2.5 grams I would like to use no more than 3-5 grams for my batch. Most recipe's for cannabutter that I have found call for half oz. or thereabouts, but I'm sure I can make some with a couple grams, right? I would really appreciate if someone could share a recipe or tips based on personal experience for the butter/brownies that would suit my needs. Thanks in advance, wishing you all a lovely holiday season
This is very, very easy if you don't mind the very slight taste of herb.
Making butter first leaves about half the medicine in the strained out sludge.
Infusion into anything is completely unnecessary.
Here's all you need do:
(1) Decarb the herb @ 240 F for 40 minutes using a verifying thermometer. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP.
(2) Grind to a fine powder in a coffee grinder
(3) Mix into the oil of any brownie recipe. I make mini-muffin brownies in paper muffin cups using $1 betty crocker brownie mix. I bake them @ 350 F for 10-15 minutes to avoid too much more heat. But just following the box recipe is ok too.
I'm looking at a box of betty crocker fudge brownie mix right now that weighs 18.3 oz.
The recipe for the 9" x13" pan could be cut up into about 16, 2.7" x 2.7" pieces, and the thc in each piece can be anything you want.
If those 16 brownies contained a total of 3 grams herb, then each brownie would have about 3/16 = 0.188 grams herb.
Assuming good 15% thc herb, that's (0.15)*(188 mg) = 28 g per brownie. The number of servings, and the amount of herb used can be adjusted.
Baking with ground, decarbed whole herb gets all the medicine.
