First timer here and to growing, looking for all the guidance I can get!

So, this was my set up last season. 1000w Aupoua led veg/bloom light. 4x4x5 vivosun tent lil 4” fan (well actually it was 2 of these set up’s on the one exhaust fan [5”in-line exhaust fan 224cfm] that drew air from both tents) and it was great at first…. Seeds took off til they stood 6”-10” and then the problems started. With some elder growers advising kinda bright them back and finished with an outdoor grow. Poor yield off of 10 plants (5 per tent) looking to do WAY better this year. BUT I want it a full tent grow! Pt2 The Upgrades! soon!

pls any input would be greatly appreciated!

Are you looking to grow from seed to harvest in the tent?

Either way theres plenty of help around here. If youd like an easy start check out my journal. Running 5 gal rain science bags and fox farm happy frog soil, with the fox farm nute line up. Easiest grow Ive ever grown. Feed once a week after the first month and watering once ever 2-3 days. No problems at all.

Might want to look into a white LED grow panel. “Blurple” lights aren’t the best for growing. They’ll produce, don’t get me wrong… but white would prob be better

I concur. The only reason white light works the best is because of the addition of green. Penetrates leaf tissue the best and penetrates the canopy better. Green also reflects itself inside the leaf maximizing absorbtion. They do make good panels at the $100-$300 range but you wont get 1000w for under $700.

Yeah, tried looking up the Aglex AGL-K180W-L01 that he mentions in his blog and can't find that exact model but the others look like the amazon blurples.....
