Grow Mediums Flood and Drain questions.

Have not done flood and drain in awhile. Used DIY setup, using flower boxes, with flower pots containing hydroton, with a few very small holes in bottom, fed and drained by PVC.

What size flower pots need to be used for AF's and Photo's????

I was able to get AutoMazars, almost 3 foot, in 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" pots. Also have 6" X 7".

Area is 6 foot tall, using 400 watt MH/HPS cooltube(s). Pots are about 5 inch off floor.

Growing out a bunch of AutoMazars now, to experiment with, before switching to new photo's. THC Bomb, 1024, Barney's Pineapple Chunk and Critical Kush.

May try flood and drain VS. coco/airpot. Airpots are 3 Gallon, and Cloth airpots are 5 Gallon.
May try all 3.

Would appreciate any advice.

Are you doing flood n drain in buckets then? If so, maybe 8in net pots in 5gl buckets. That's what I would if I didn't use a ebb n flow table. Hope that helps. They make net pots that fit right in top of 5gl buckets.
