New Grower Fox Farms Coco Loco grow...

As far as lighting goes, minimum wattage is 50 watts per square foot.. a rule of thumb i`ve heard around ^^

seems like your W should cover that :Sharing One:
im no pro with lumens.. but if you want a better answer.. you could try put it in the Live help thread (in my sign) always people there to answer your q`s

edit: never used anything else then computer. bottom right corner of post, next to "reply" and "reply with quote"

Hi. Depends on what you qualify a success :D
I've had 50 grams dry of one plant with 125w (8000 lumens?) or so , some changes during the grow, with "supermarket" CFLs. That 50g lasted for me and girlfriend 2.5 months.
About edit; left most option besides 'reply', apparently it doesn't show on your phone?

Edit: here she is wet just after scissors:

I hope I get something like that, I'm using 300w dual spectrum (20,000 lumens).

Nice work man! Karma!

Hey guys, one more question... I have read varying reports about Coco. Some say to keep the coco wet at all times while others say to have a wet/dry period. What do you guys think?

Hey Jebkmoo,

This was in the help thread by Ronin

Jebkmoo,
I grow with coco ( botanicare bagged and generic compressed brick) in 2 gallon Airpots and in 5 gallon Airpots.
When starting off and training roots, I do a wet/moist cycle. I let it dry out, but not completely dry. Gauge by weight.
Once roots are established I then water everyday. I keep it moist all the time once she is going strong.
I run a h2o/calmag rinse every 2-3 weeks to remove any salt build up. Never run plain water.
Hope this helps
Ronin

Peace

Eek

Update Day #19...

I hope that everyone is having a great day! My grow is going well and below are pictures of my babies at day #19 right after their every other day feed.

I upped my nutes to full strength this time seeing as how they have responded so well to the nutes. I am at the following per gallon of distilled water;

3 Tsps of Fox Farms Grow Big

2 Tsps General Hydro Cal/Mag

2 Drops of Super Thrive

After adding the nutes and vitamins the PH came to 6.1, which is within tange for nutrient uptake.

Below are pictures of my babies. The Strawberry Blue strain is still my favorite. Almost forgot... The Skunk Auto has already shown its sex at day #19 with preflowers popping up yesterday.

Awesome job

Hey jebkmoo just wanted to say you are doing awesome, I too am growing at this time with a strain called Cream of the Crop Cash Crop. Your girls look very nice & I wanted to let you know that & to tell you to keep up the good work.:grat:

My apologies for the multiple posts... If I knew how to edit my posts I would. If it can be done maybe someone can tell me how to do so. I use the android app TapaTalk.

I added up my total lumen output and I have a total of 36,800 over a 8 square feet.

With 561 watts in CFL's and 36,800 lumens in 8 square feet do you guys think that I will have a decent yield? I know there are many other variables to consider but I have had a few successful, allbeit modest, grows within the past two yeard with only 300 watts for four plants. Is this enough for a successful bounty?

You have plenty of light, no worries! And it looks like your doing fine with your grow!
