i'm poor. i know some of you can relate to what it's like to making purchases very carefully, because you won't get to make another for a while.

so, be warned - FFOF is *not* for young plants. not like.. you could be using something better, more.. slash up a pretty face with a broken beer bottle disfigured for life kind of *not* for young plants.

i've been pissing and pissing all year trying to grow in my current venue.. lost valuable seeds to gnats.. got agsil.. thought i was losing plants to heat.. cussed a whole lot about that last week when my old plants died.

but, i was happy! happy!!!! happyhappyhappy because i had new seedlings started

yesterday and today i'm rinsing off the roots and washing them in h2o2. someone elsewhere looking at my soil (an extreme example) said.. "dude.. that looks like 90% perlite 10% soil.."

because i *knew* i would have the same insane survival problems...

i've been growing for over two decades.. worked in three nurseries...

they all fucking damped off. two weeks.. growgrowgrow.. suddenly.. stop growing.. diediedie...

anyway... you know those seedsman haze.. the kind you can't get now.. the kind that came straight from skunkman sam that the entire industry ignores because of advertising... the kind that is as potent a weed as you'll ever find... that makes old mexican gangsters covet it when they could be smoking private crap from their familia.. for $12 a pack???!!!!!

i've had better results growing in shit i scraped out from between cement panels on the sidewalk (c. 1988...)

better results with wash from an arizona dry riverbed (that's straight sand, and i've grown in it..)

better results with baked arizona backyard dirt.

FFOF is a young plant killer. sure.. i understand there's some product variation...

you have been warned.

oh, and believe me, i'm so fcuked about it i took photos of every "rootmass" (rarely longer than 1" and these fcukers germed on july 31st)

go die, FF

oh and ftr don't try to do nothing clever holmes, you ain't gonna "dilute" that "hotness" down by mixing it with something else. it doesn't work like that.

If its burning up the babies give that soil a little flush before the seed shop goes in

Go with promix and add some mychorizae root starter. Some promix has it in already ,promix ultamate organic is also very good.

KNOCK ON WOOD i never had a gnat or root prob or had to worry about flushing in 100% Perlite Hempy.

TOKE OUT

You just had some bad luck. Years of growing with that soil. Check out my grow. Germinated and babies are just fine. I also have pictures of my other grow thats going on and its just fine as well, all FF Ocean Forest. Thats not just one strain but 4 different strains. So no warning needed :)

I've grown all my autos in ffof and so far no problems. I hav seen just slight nute burn on the very first set of leaves but after that they really take off. Just don't give any nutes for atleast two weeks. And waveguide I'm really sorry you had such bad luck with it. I guess if I keep using it it will probably get me one of these days.

The other thing to keep in mind if your willing to grow then your willing to fail or have fuck ups. If your buying seeds like most of us do on here your going to have duds. Thats 10-20 bucks down the toilette. Its part of the game. Usually if your not crazy practice good growing regiments then they will turn out but having it fail now and then well that comes with the territory.

its well known that Fox Farm Ocean Forest Burns lots of seedlings ( not all seedlings ), you should mix 50% Fox Farm lightwarrior and 50 % fox farm ocean forest....awesome mix :)

Actually, that's exactly how it works....holmes. Most people dilute the hotness by mixing a bag of light warrior with OF. That tek has a long record of working very well.
