Afternoin all,

So I have a pretty "micro" (literally) grow going on, with the hope to stick them outside, but that's weather dependent. I have limited resources so I'm added and changing as I go along. At the I'm using a cfl bulb, in a tinfoil lined cupboard with a desktop fan. I soaked the seeds on the 14th of may and stuck them in pots on the 20th of may. I plan to get a bigger bulb or maybe 2 with a splitter, my emergancy mylar blanket came today so i can change the foil. My babies are coming on but there growth is stunted or was they seem to be having a little growth spurt. I mixed 1ml veg nutes with 1 litre and gave each plant about 75mls then this week grabbed the wrong bottle and made up the same quantity but with bloom nutes doh!! 20190604_114637.jpg 20190604_114642.jpg 20190604_115305.jpg 20190604_120123.jpg 20190604_114726.jpg 20190604_114708.jpg 20190604_114654.jpg 20190604_115002.jpg 20190604_115255.jpg

Some pictures of my wee garden, any pointers, criticisms are all very much welcome ✌

Had some issues uploading pictures so gave up after a while:dammit:lol

Good luck on your micro grow yo! You are braver than i, im in a 3x3x5 space thinking its too small lol.
They might be a lil small/behind but no worries. Seems like the 1st couple of weeks the action is taking place under the soil with the roots anyways!

Thanks, I might move them into a bigger space, looks like the likey hood of them going outside is dying day by day, i was hoping for the weather we had last year. Any tips?

Im all sorts of noobish myself, but a few things that seem to be good, general bits of advice....
Dont overwater! The babies dont need much water at all the first few weeks.
Next tip on water, ph pen can be super useful. The strip kits are better than nothing but an actual pen can help ya identify issues with water and nutes.
Nutes- it appears that most autos dont need very many nutes at the start. But if you are gonna use nutes, mix them up at lower strengths than directed by the package, and work it up from there. Example, start at 1/4 strength for a week, then go to 1/2 strength, etc. That will save you money in the end and will give you and your plant time to adjust.
Read read read! Theres a lot of great info here in the forums and elsewhere out in the interwebs. Read, then read some more. Ask questions, etc.
Last thing id say for now, try and enjoy the process!

Thanks bud, all advice is very welcome, yeah I've been trying to keep watering to a minimum I guess my way of thinking was a underwatered plant is better than a over watered one (if you had to chose). I think I'm going to invest in one of the ph pens, at mo I'm not testing the soil at all, do far I've not had any burnt leaves so fingers crossed. I am really enjoying the process, I love how quick they grow everytime I look at them their different. Have you got anything on the go just how? I'm thinking of plans to build a cupboard to house them ad any future endeavours if this works

Looks like ya got a good grasp on this yo!
And i do have a couple of journals going, im terrible with links, but if i figure that out ill shoot ya a link to mine.
Im 46 days into an organic grow, and 35 days into a seperate grow in coco loco. Loooooving it.so far and looking forward to the day when i can smoke my own meds!!!

****update*****
I've been reading up on LST and thought I'd try my hand at it. I didn't want to overdo it so its minimal but I'm pleased.

The puppies have had a growth spurt last day or so, cant believe how much they've grown. I worked it out that I've only had them in the microspace for 11days as I started them outside so I'm amazed at the growth they've got considering they were battered my the fair fine Scottish weather Haha last pic the day they went in the cupboard

Lookin good! Luv me some training! Ive been using lil vinyl coated paper clips and plant ties to get her in shape.
Careful tho! Weed is a resilient plant for sure but its easy to accidentally pull leaves off and bend snap stems.
