I stopped using silica because I couldn't get the pH to sit tight in its place... any tips guys?
Never had that problem groff. Incase you didn't know, you are supposed to add the silica in first to dilute it, then add everything else. This may help you. Other than that I have no other advice. I use pro-tekt.

im hopeing the silicon stiffenes them up a bit as they , as you know can be a bit floppy but there looking on track be it No4 is a bit gangly might have to tie her down a bit we'll see, thank you for the rep
:buds:Got to agree with you on that one Truu but i like to go eazy with it as it can affect the final burn and taste but yes love the stuff
Thats an eazy one groff if you cant get your ph down when useing silicon just apply it as a foilar spray once or twice a week mate, but there are ph perfect silicons out there cant mind what ones but i'll find out buddie
Must admit ive herd put it in first then last and tryed both i now use my silicon last but the plant magic silicon is quite thick and im only mixing up small amounts (5lt) and it seems fine to use both ways Truu and mind its an organic one dont know if it makes a difference though

Mag/cal 15ml
a+b grow 25ml of each
Comes out at ph 6 with an ec of 1.1 added 3 to 4 drops of ph down to 5.8 , sorted
as yous know i like to put pics in to keep you interested so these show how i keep the canopy sort of level and a snap of my hungarian hot wax the wee chilli seedlings im suprised popped as i stuck them in all-mix instead of the usual plant magic supreme soil ( not as hot ) so we'll see how they go as there soaking up some rays in the tent been recommended chilli focus for them after looking at Hazy's purple ones as they look mint so will give this a go , last year i just fed them the PM oldtimer nutes with good results but this stuff is cheap as chips so will give it a bash
