Whats up Squid, sorry to keep bothering you. Got a couple of questions. Should i try to get the pro-mix soil ph'd at 6.5 before starting? or just start with 6.0 ph'd water?. I will be using the tiered method with cups in final place. About how much molases should i add to water?. Will the trio feed schedule be the same as FD's?. Sorry again for bothering you. I will post a picture of my set up i just finished soon. Thank you

You're over complicating this. Find me a grower on here that tries to get 6.5 soil ph before starting..

Molasses is used more in bloom, so week 6 and on, 1/2 tsp to 1 tbsp per gallon, you're feeding the mycos carbs and giving the plant some sugar.
trio feed schedule, follow their website, but reduce everything to 1/4, you're starting strength should be 1/4 of what they recommend and finishing strength should be 1/2 of what they recommend. Feed according to plants response. If the leaves aren't getting yellow, no problems are happening, you can kick up the nutes a bit - if it causes problems, dial it back.

Promix isn't like soil in regards to Ph. It does good in the 5.9-6.3 range in my experience. I don't put anything in mine over 6.3 and that's actually a quote from Jackal whom is Promix Master. Haha
Right out of the bag, Promix is ready to go. I add xtra perlite to mine and water with 6. Wait a few hours or a day and plant. Boom.

Hey major2stoned I just noticed 50 pallets of cow manure at the home depot in anchorage 2 days ago. Not sure where you're located. I also ordered the ff nutes while trying to find it in AK.

Major, you could just use moose shit. walk to any park in town and you can find it. I have mixed it with my ocean Forrest/Light warrior and it works excellent!!:gthumb:

What's up. Finally got my new set up, and grow going. I started a new thread with some pic's. I hope thats ok. Just wanted a fresh start with new grow. Right now i will be going into day 4.
