shit, how did my coco/perlite get so high over 6.0? Sent a PM to duggy and he says he doesn't care much about the PH of the coco, only the water and nutes. Chart #2 says higher PH is ok or "best available" except for a few trace elements like phosphorus, potassium and zinc.
Shit, I'll just let it ride.
it OK for the pH to come out @ 60-61,i like keeping ph low in vegging but one she blooming i like it around 5.9 6.0, by then my ph going in, is 5.8 by the time me girls are done me ph is about 6.2 6.3 on the run offshit, how did my coco/perlite get so high over 6.0? Usually pHing the water is what let's you control the pH of the coco. I would keep pHing your water, after applying nutes, to 5.8 and the medium should adjust. I might even water a tiny bit heavier than you normally do, not flushing though, to help really saturate the medium with water at the correct pH. The potassium and phosphorus are super important and around 6 you will start looking out the K.
If you like growing in coco a lot too maybe take a peek at Advanced Nutrients pH prefect line. Unreasonably expensive but if you use really low ppm water the nutes themselves will adjust your water pH to 5.8.
Best of luck man!
Personally I use Sensi Grow A+B, Sensi Bloom A+B, and then the hobbyist bundle which includes Voodoo Juice, B52, Big Bud, and Overdrive.
I generally use grow until ask vertical growth stops and then switch over to bloom. I also follow the out of the nute schedule provided by AN just scaled back a bit and ramped up slowly.
